I have schizophernia, I'm on xeplion 150 mgI was also on 200 mg abilify, which ive quit for 2 months nowAfter quitting abilify, im rapidly gaining fat, despite training with kettlebells and taking walks. Also I notice a loss of skill with everything i do such as chess or playing counter strike or other video gamesWhat do I do now? Could this be temporary
>>42319337I am doing SR now for 78 days which i think helps meAnd my life got better in other ways after quitting abilify, but the fat gain is bad and skill loss
>>42319337https://lichess.org/aWEKRhOEI ANNIHILATE YOU @CHESS
>>42319345Yes you probably do ive only gotten worse at everything since quitting abilify and my elo is now 360Don't want to play now sorry looking for solutions. I feel slow and sluggish
>>42319337this is a question for >>>/sci/ but since it intrigued me, abilify balances your serotonin and dopamine which are crucial for movement and coordination. So, getting off of it will negatively affect your coordination.
>>42319358k fair enoughi have no solutions but wish the best of luck in your search
>>42319360What do you think would be betterIf i reduced xeplion to 100 mgOr i do that and i take the abilify back? But people noted i have more empahty now and i act calmer
>>42319364well, you could just lower the dose of the abilify to something more reasonable for a human. 10-20mg maybe.
>>42319337any time you alter your brain chemistry your body has to readjust. this could take weeks to months but it's very normal. In terms of weight stuff, there's no magic behind it, it's number in vs. number out. start counting calories, you don't need to restrict yourself (yet) but at least get a good feeling for how much you're eating and where your calories are coming from. do it properly - as in actually weigh your food, no guessing - and it'll be very illuminatingbeyond that, just try to keep yourself grounded, if you're having trouble sleeping feel free to take some sleep aids, drink water and get out in the sun as much as you can. good luck and feel better.
>>42319454Thanks. Yeah Ill start restricting my diet.
>>42319337I'm on schizophrenia medications and I notice I'm not able to win in first place at racing games and always end in last no matter what now when playing online. I try playing Splatoon and I'm practically a liability to the team. If it's not my meds I don't know what it is, cuz I wasn't always bad like this before.
I take mine at night to help me get to sleep. In regards to the symptoms, just ignore and distract yourself. I do a lot a small, little tasks. Keep my brain active. Train yourself to focus and block out the noise.
>>42319337Can you go back to a low dose of abilify?Count calories, weigh/measure everything, and stay below a low number to lose weight. Also not /x/ content.
Intermittent fasting, keto diet. Dont go on /x/ or 4chan at all desu.
