Speaking is a sin. Spoken language should not exist. Shrooms told me this telepathically through the true form of communication. Vow of silence like animals is the solution. Vocalizations that express emotions only are not a sin
What's wrong with speaking
>>42320702Still would have to harvest and prepare food anon. Even if there weren’t words to describe them your body would riddle away and eventually you would come to an end. Just like you want to eat shrooms.
>>42320702This. Language is the enemy. A parasitic mind virus that controls how we think
>>42320787>he thinks humans always had verbal communication lmao no and we are going back before the end
>>42320798And yet you use it. Curious.
>>42320702Actually something I thought about recently. With language, the chance of misinterpretation alone is risky. Even when direct, it's kinda a mind virus that allows for mass manipulation and can be downright evil. People lose their life over the shit. Of course I'm not going to stop speaking/reading etc., but I do try to choose my words a bit more carefully as of late and also gatekeep what I allow into my subconscious mind at least as much as you can in today's world of memetic info hazards everywhere.
>>42320702The tower of babel is not about God Cursing man with tongues for hubris of trying to reach him. It is a story about ratfuck scummy bastards in government outsourcing labor to foreigners for a project that is physically impossible and then the whole damn system of government falling apart when it fails and suddenly the country is full of unemployed hungry indians. There is a reason so many civilizations have stupidly massive half finished monoliths broken and still in their quarries.Don't worry though, they figured out how important biodegradability is when recycling. Did you know there are types of yeast that eat plastic? neat huh?
>>42320702Some forms of it are, yes. So much of what remains is performative or done for gain or exploitation. Very little of it seems remotely useful.Nothing new though, maybe that's why the wiser friends I have say so little.
In the words of William S. Burroughs, "Language is a virus from outer space". Telepathy is the superior medium.
>>42320847or about when kings feel the heat, they turn citizens against each other.but you want to feel like the world was made for you.
>>42321236Yeah man, when a king is feeling heat from people wearing one uniform he totally couldn't fool himself into seeing safety in other uniforms.Damn it.
>>42320702True, lurk more.
exactly, good thread!>the tao that can be talked about is NOT the eternal living tao>when you have names and forms, know that they are provisional
>>42320702language is not evil, just barrier. the truly awake and strong can figure things out with just the thoughts alone, not even thinking the words but recognizing what it is. the moment you use a word to name it, say it, explain it all its intricacy is lost in a sea of not entirely accurate descriptors and ideas.
>>42320702>Vow of silence like animalsVirtually all animals vocalize and/or make sound.
>>42321940>Vocalizations that express emotions only are not a sinI feel there is some great truth within this statementlet's explore...to truly be silent (verbally) one must live from the heart and not from thinking/verbalizing brainall actions must flow from that living, flowering emotiona true religious activity one may even have an outburst of musical (instrumental or vocal) and may outburst in a spontaneous danceyou cannot really control the outburst (outpouring, aura)
>>42320702https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gLIb8vzPpQThis is what seven nation army, one of the most popular songs in history, is about. The lyric rhythm reminds me of Psalms.>I'm gonna fight 'em off>A seven nation army couldn't hold me back>They're gonna rip it off>Takin' their time right behind my back>And I'm talkin' to myself at night>Because I can't forget>Back and forth through my mind>Behind a cigarette>I'm goin' to Wichita>Far from this opera forevermore>I'm gonna work the straw>Make the sweat drip out of every pore>And I'm bleedin', and I'm bleedin', and I'm bleedin'>Right before the Lord>All the words are gonna bleed from me>And I will think no more

>>42320702This but unironically >>42320821The biggest trick of language is that words feel like they come from you when they are not your creation. Most don't think about it but using language to express meaning or shape though is a corruption of the experience. Freedom of speech is only free within the constraints and limitations of language, and we see how some wish to see it even more controlled and limited.
The apophatics would have loved this OP
May humans go back to being noble beasts.
>>42322538neat post> Freedom of speech is only free within the constraints and limitations of language, and we see how some wish to see it even more controlled and limited.when the words recursively reference each other, when the words themselves are subject to editing (like a wiki page)this limitation could be then seen as an artto express ideas across digital screensbut vocal speech? yes it does seem truly lacking and problematic, noisey, aura-stagnating
>>42321987There are many many animals that have identifiable language, and NONE of them use vocalizations to express emotions.Vocalizations are tools to communicate intent and warnings to others, not emotions. You are saying all animal life is sinning.
>>42322856>You are saying all animal life is sinning.no me not saying anything about sinning>Vocalizations are tools to communicate intent and warnings to othersyes, and bird sings emotionally?the communication of intent is part of emotion, contained within the grander emotionemotion need not be vocalized one could stay silent one could drop all narratives and just be
