In 2036 98% of humans will have taken an injection which allows them to have AGI cloud access directly inside their mind, without it you cannot compete in society and your effective IQ becomes over 190. In 2037 bad actors discover humans who took the injection can be easily hacked and made to kill themselves or read their thoughts to blackmail them and force them to do whatever you want. The exploit was unfixable and abusable by anyone, Society fell apart into chaos and mass riots and looting, politicians and other important people were being forced to Suicide themselves by hackers. In 2039 the had AGI working on a solution and the best solution it could come up with was To Kill Everyone by hacking them and making them kill themselves by bad emotion overload. So people grab their kitchen knives, their guns or jumped off cliffs or blew their brains out or sliced their necks. Until 98% of humanity was dead in only a month. I am part of a team of unmodified human scientists sending this message back in time. Do not take the shot. Attached is an image of the empty city overgrown.

Another false thread...A large part of the world's population lacks electricity, sewerage, or drinking water...So even with a flawed, paid technology, the reach is no more than ~20% of the population. Unless, of course, it's a self-replicating virus with nanobots.
>>42320856you mean a meme. if you are talking about in the real world you have a generator for those in your groin.
Who's the president in 2047
I don't like IQ tests but having the entirety of human knowledge in your head will not increase IQ. We have the entirety of human knowledge on phones and computers and loads of us are still dumb as fuck. We'll all be slaves to AI by 2047

i was thinking about this recently, my wife is a big anti technology person (she hates AI) she is vehemently against the idea of chips inserted or anything of that techno humanism shit. I'm kinda anti it but I also don't want to miss out on a possible extraordinary existence we might develop. I love her dearly and I think things would be over if I went that direction so I'd probably skip out but then suddenly her and I (who are generally smarter and more creative than the majority of people) are suddenly going to become neanderthals. What about our kids after that? We at least have the benefit of almost being retirement age by the time that comes but my kids will basically need to go cyborg.

>>42321164bold of you to assume the tech will be helpful and won't just be used to shill you products, control your dollar and your vote.
>empty city overgrow>Pic show obviously maintained grassfields and you can even see a car path on one, notwithstanding the two field of corn/wheat further awayBad larp, couldnt even be bothered to get a beliveable pic. Hell you can even see a few homes here and there. So much for being empty.
>>42320782This isn't very believable. If things became that dire, the 98% would attempt to take the 2% with them. There's no way that they wouldn't.
