There's this girl in the hostel that I work at that I like. Yesterday was my last day working there and apparently there's a guest that will take my position

Well, I told a friend one time: wouldn't it be funny if on his first day he actually pulled the girl that I like while I couldn't (I tried to do small talk with her one time and she was really dry so I didn't push it)

So during the beginning of my last shift my coworker told me that she saw this guys together watching a movie in the private area which creeps me out due to the fact that I more or less predicted it, she is pretty sure but no one really spoke to her and she was kinda intimiding due to her overall aesthetic

Did I manifest that situation or am I just cursed?

who the fuck gets a job by being a guest
who the fuck watches movies with customers
who the fuck calls you to report about it
i think you should be very skeptical about any type of feelings when bound by workplace

I do work at a hostel so sometimes it's common for reception to offer guests work in exchange of accommodation or so, it's not unheard of but it's definitely creepy how specific the circumstances were
