I do notice things seem faster. I watch this sports show on my local channel that comes on at 2pm. Really silly example, but I'll wake up at 8 on a day off and think how badly I want it to come on, and then go on my laptop and play a game or do some work and suddenly it's 1:40 and the show is about to come on. I don't lose track of time either, it just seems so short of a time from 8am to 2pm anymore. Even when I'm working the time seems to go by so fast I can't finish my assignments. It's weird and noticeable.

Time is based on your feelings and your perceptions. It is not some objective constant. In fact, nothing exists outside of consciousness. Space and time are based solely in perception.

I proved this once by entering a state of incredible calmness and observed that the ticking of my watch was noticably slower.

Okay, lets say there's a really bad movie. You're watching it alone and you genuinely hate it and it feels like it lasts 5 hours. Someone else watches it drunk with a group of friends and laughs the whole time and it feels like it goes by in an hour. Yes, the movie is "90 minutes" in both cases.

But there is no objective observer for whom every single 90 minute period moves exactly at the speed of the last one. That would be absurd. That's what people unconsciously believe in though. They think somehow to someone 90 minutes is always the same PERCEIVED amount of time.

I'm just saying that PERCEIVED time is MORE REAL than so called Objective Time because pure objectivity is an abstract concept and perceived time is also more real than abstract ideas in the mind.

As I said in your other thread, time is a ratio. It can't be directly manipulated.
Say we take a bouncing ball measured with a windup clock.
We are observing one object change, and comparing it to the (best as we can make it) constant change of the other.
What would you do to "speed up time"? Make the clock run faster? Make the ball bounce slower? Neither of these affects "time."
So you suppose some ethereal "time" affecting both? But if that is "sped up" them both ball and clock move faster, and "time" doesn't change at all.
