>>42341271To be fair I think "learning a lesson" in this context would be more akin to evolving stability and integrity as a soul than about "learning" as if for "obtaining knowledge". As an analogy, you don't "learn" muscle mass by working out, you "gain" it with hard work and the pain of your choice. And admittedly, gaining muscle mass involves cannibalization of other fellow Earth life, and that's intentionally part of this analogy....which is why the idea of "evolving as a soul" being the primary and sole purpose of life on Earth presents its own questions and problems. What necessitates this setup to begin with? Wouldn't be surprised if this place is effectively both a prison and a school, like that other anon said, maybe on multiple levels.
