The Bible calls him the King of Terrors.Do you fear death?
>>42337838Those who have drunk to deeply from the cup of sorrows oft forget the taste of happiness. Those who drink too deeply from the cup of struggle often forget the taste of victory. Those who have drunken too deeply from the cup of Death oft forget the taste of Life.However.Those who drink too deeply from the cup of Life too, oft forget the taste of Death.A gentle reminder for you not to drink too deeply from either cup. Balance is the key to peace, peace the key to understanding. You fear that which you do not control. Yet you forget to control that fear itself. Now instead of one great threat, there are two. Death, like Life, must be respected.
>>42337936Whats the key to happiness and long life?
it is truly the only thing to fear as a mortal.the concepts of failure in wealth or mating is only superficial in animal behavior.. they were put in your brain to make you labor.
>>42337941Long life? I have found many avenues. I studied biology. Found the key to most life cycles by studying the little ones. Turritopsis Dohrnii, an "immortal" jellyfish, and Monarch Butterflies, a creature that can undergo advanced metamorphosis while preserving memory through each evolution stage. I combined the two. Used it to great effect. Long and happy life? I can guarantee you, the average Partisan in Sardinia or Hot Spring goer in Reykjavik has had those keys for a long time, but I sook eternal life...And boy did I find everything I was looking for. However, as many as my wonders, so too my sorrow. I am not a man of happiness. For what triggers happiness is subjective to all things, man and animal, yet universal in the moment of experience... but I can give you this, a platform on which you may stand on, and find it.Happiness you must find for yourself. If I have seen further, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants, who shared their meals with me, and helped me grow to incredible heights.Go forth and find, Old Friend. That you must.Go forth and find happiness.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYoWuaw5nSk
>>42337838>Do you fear death? No. I only fear not doing enough with life.
>>42337838Why should the king of terror fear?If he fears one thingIt is eternityas a skeleton.Every cord he cutsIs a step backTo his own.
>>42337838Not really. I only bother living because I've got obligations. I don't really enjoy it at all and I don't think I'll be sad to see the end of it.
It depends on how you perceive it, as an individual entity or a concept, culturally death has been portrait as a grim agent of chaos disturbing the paced peace of life itself, an individual fear to death. Although historically most if not all ancient cultures foresaw death as a needed respected authority that no matter where you did in life will always catch up.A necessary evil or something else than a caretaker to take you somewhere else. The fear of death is as natural as the fear of dark or high heights. Still the unnatural concept of erasing consciousness, passing away or simply disappearing is frightening, more than the pain or agony of dying itself. Personally I don't fear deathAfter years of fearing the only thing I cannot force myself to avoid, I now wait anxiously when the time might come, and what that moment might going to be like. I certainly hope is nothing lame, something impactful and filled with emotion, that may also keep my brains in one place so I can experience the whole thing completely. So that moment I've been waiting for, for many many years now is just a reminder that the only true valuable thing in life I have is time itself. Now, aske me if I fear time, Death may witness the greatest terrors, but Time invoke them.
>>42337838I'm not actually afraid of death. If someone told me I would die in my sleep anyday of the month, I wouldn't feel fear, just curiosity. What I truly fear is all the drama, pain and suffering that often culminate in death, not death itself.
I perceive death as another deity, more neutral or gray, as a mediator between good and evil or god and the devil
>>42337838LMAO can you imagine...No.
>>42337838Life and Death are Jesus'He is the Alpha and Omega and God the Father gave him authority over the Earth and everything that lives on itHe will judge us in the end of days
>>42337838I don't fear him. Not like I can stop it.

He is the god of the souls of the dead or the souls that lost their light, their owner and servantincluding us, all our ancestors, etc.
>>42338874Ironically, their job can also be to prevent unnecessary suffering or death
He's a weakling who got defeated by God.
>>42337838No. I fear dementia, living as a cripple, losing my eyesight, etc. I don't fear death. The soul can be considered immortal.
>>42337838Tha found a way out and escaped and is currently on the run, not knowing who thou be.
>>42338125This. Death? That would be release. The true king is bound to live forever, to forever discover and become himself.
>>42337838No, i am afraid of what's after death, so many possibilities and almost all of them suck ass >nothing aka the Void, endless sleep for eternity>Hell/Heaven and Purgatory>reincarnation >Eternal recurrence aka you will die and eons will pass until you live again t he same life, Reliving the same life over and over again for eternity>a simulation >God dreametc
>>42343077>God's DreamThis us cool imo, but not an afterlife, AFAIK. Unless you mean dreaming up a reality after death.
