You can't induce possession and that image of the unknown author is mentally ill. Possession is real, but it is extremely rare. We are talking 1 in 1,000,000 rare. There have only been just a handful of psychologically assessed cases of what would appear to be genuine demonstrations of possession (where the individual exhibited erratic behaviours, obscenely blasphemous actions, and rampant proclivities that were extremely antisocial, immoral, and done for the sake of inflicting as much pain and degradation to other humans as possible and yet the individual showed no diagnosable traits of any mental disorders, personality disorders, no lower or higher than average intellect, no neuroses of the mind, nothing. Just a seemingly average person taken over by unusually cruel and dark impulses).
There have been only been around 10 maybe less of those ever researched in psychology. Psychology doesn't outright call it demonic possession, since they field prefers to remain divorced from theology, but it's been noted.

I only vaguely remember this case. I'd have to dig into it again to tell you but surface level research says he was schizoaffective (Bipolar type) & ASPD antisocial personality disordered (sociopathy). So he had impulsive grandiose thoughts from one disorder, and a lack of conscience/empathy from the other. Which means when he got the random thought to kill in his fantasy, he just went and done it without thinking twice thanks to the sociopathy.

I think I've been possessed. Without going into detail, I went through a period where I was trying to be as upsetting to everyone around me as possible in very weird ways that confused people. Even at the time, it was painful to me. I still hate myself for that time in my life and am kind of perplexed by it. I am on the autism spectrum, but it didn't seem anything like symptoms of autism.
