I have been thinking of something like picrel alot here recently:>Be something >A man, cat, an alien even>Be trapped in a magitech structure can make you dream >Be in it so long that the reality outside of it has all decayed, even spacetimeWhat if there is no base reality anymore, well no base reality that can be lived in at all, and all is left is the void and this dreammatrix? What tf do you do in this scenario, if you can do, that is? Is it hopeless? Why is the concept drawing me in so much? Thanks in advance as always!!!

>>42342381This cube matrix sucks too. I miss the original timeline pre 2012.

>>42343103Yeah, I had weird existential thoughts around this time, maybe in 2013, close regardless. I was only 10 or 11 at the time.
>>42342381No, they just made a "digital Demiurge" with AI and 5g wireleds. Is all.
>>42343170I'm eventual erasing the code, all of It, even if I need to scrub your infrastructure. I said. You gotta admire how wrong they are, though, in the og design there was no Demiurge, just gods of light (japanese pantheon being the highest), they died, so they made a digital memiurge
>>42342381I was thinking about this a while back, it’s obvious that this reality is a simulation. But is there anything outside the simulation. Does base reality even exist. Does a version of me even exist in base reality. If I did manage to escape the simulation (highly improbable) could I even exist in base reality? Would anything even be somewhat recognizable. Could I even function in base reality. It’s also so perplexing to fathom.
>>42343255What if we have bodies in base reality, but we are actually animals, aliens, or somesuch? That is a scenario I think about often too.
>>42343176?
Like, I think this concept would make a wonderful anime. Something in the style of Boogiepop Phantom, but less confusing. Would be a 10/10.
>>42343109i've been reading and hearing about the "one true dreamer waking up any moment now" for over 20 years and the only thing that has happened is the world has gone even deeper into shit and the demonic hive mind just keeps growing stronger

>>42342381>>42343103>>42343176i have thought about this but without the tech: it's all Mind. it's a fractured schizo dreamworld. "You" are you. everything else is you. there is no escape. it's like being a coma patient trapped in a dream. but coma patients have physical bodies that can die. imagine being in a coma but you can never die or escape your own mind. this mind probably fractured because realizing you're trapped forever in a dream would drive anyone insane. the only reasonable thing to do is destroy the cube or somehow find a way to destroy your consciousness.
>>42351114They keep the "Monad Proxy" dormant and unconscious to power the city.
>>42343255Why do you think its obvious that we live in a simulation?
>>42351134Left hemisphere either kept dormant or tapped into.
>>42351141I still suspect we / I have a real body outside of this. It's kept in a state where its hemispheric communication is disrupted or filtered by an external system. One of them knows more of the truth and has access to external bodily sensation, and tries to wake up the other by dreaming up stuff the external system is not smart enough to filter. For example I listened to Man on the Moon 1 and 2, and Machina, and many others in the period immediately leading up to finding Ergo Proxy. Why would something exist that is that exact set of random western things cobbled together? Why does it have brain interface subliminals everywhere? Why does it seem to come about only under what I know, but seems to be made by something that knows what I know and more?
>>42351151Ergo Picrel
>>42351157This scene was based on a 2 on 1 fight I got into in middle school. The small quiet one is KP and the big one on the ground is BS (lol, just realized that's his initials).
>>42351169So it's like a sort of recursion. Fiction and life here is is based on a slushed and sloshed form of my memories and mental activity, which makes more memories. Then what is this palce based on? My real dreaming body? I have nerve damage and have an odd sensation / prickling numbness in the right side of the face, and left side of the body. Look at the depiction of the "Monad Proxy". Is that a coincidence? Dohbt it.I've identified who almost all the characters were based on, EXCEPT Re-L Mayer. And that's because she's a human clone of Monad, and I either don't know or cannot accept who Monad is.
>>42350891And for the hell of it, for Migga's benefit anyway, despite the trauma based conditioning we all receive to not provide too much personal information. SOMA takes palce in a complex under the sea, the main character is Simon Jarrett. Bioshock takes place in a city under the sea, it was built by Andrew Ryan. Simon and Andrew are the two fishermen Jesus meets. They're both derived from my name. It's just altered slightly and then used in pieces to generate things. SOMA is also directly based on Ghost in the Shell and Ergo Proxy. I went to school with a McConnell and she always struck me as odd because she was in our grade but always looked much older than us. Not in the zoomer rapid or premature aging sense. She just looked older, like 20. She reminds me of Lara Croft in retrospect. I didn't interact with her much. Don't know if she would have been reading a grimoire, but another girl would have certainly. In SOMA the main character is in a car crash and has a brain bleed which is probably slowly killing him, at 26. I was in a car crash when I was 24 or 25. Got smashed in the head with a jar of strawberry jam while the car was rolling. On the right side of course, which was already fucked up. It was a Friday the 13th when I was exactly 8888 days old. I went to school with an Ashley H. who killed herself shortly after high school. I'd forgotten this till I stumbled on her grave recently. I later worked with a J. Hall.
>>42351157Lol, the Elfen Lied helmet.
>>42351817Never seen it. Remember it was popular back in the day.
>>42351920The Dark Crystal is another one I've been meaning to watch.
>>42351925Also I forgot, I actually had multiple brain scans done ~2013 or 2014. Maybe early 2015. A 1.5T MRI then a contrasted (gadolinium, mistake) 3T. Along with EEG, etc.SOMA calls this mind copier / consciounsessness projector the pilot seat. It's got the 303 and everything.

>>42351941I suspect I am narrowing in on a certain conclusion hidden behind the puzzle itself. The thing running this place wants to loop that into "settling" me, so I will accept reality and existence and go back to somnambulism, but I refuse.

>>42351289Been putting this off:How do you feel about God, Jesus, and the Christianity religion, Spideranon?
>>42351954Well, in any case. To Migga. I won't spil it, but SOMA is pretty similar to this. Everything Frictional Games made feels oddly familiar and realer than reality. I didn't care as much for the first Amnesia way back in the day, and I now in retrospect can't help but consider it to be a sort of spiritual rape (coercing people into doing rituals they don't comprehend). I'm ambivalent about it.
>>42352015>I won't spil it,spoil*It sounds dumb but I would call them "activating". >>42352011>Been putting this off:You're probably not supposed to play them yet or something. I didn't play Bioshock infinite till like last year.
>>42352011>How do you feel about God, Jesus, and the Christianity religion, Spideranon?Complex question to answer. Simple answer at the core though. I'm basically a solipsist and syncretist at the core. So my conception of the Jesus / Christ concepts, God, etc, are based on personal experience rather than any doctrine. It's hard to answer because the language involved uses a lot of loaded terminology which must be meticulously defined.>pic rel has the player use the avatar their consciousness is projecting itself into the virtual world through, to prick their finger and drip their blood into a black pool. The alphabet they use around it is a celestial script, enochian and Adamic script. I consider that to be a form of coercion. The player could just not compelte the game of course, but to progress at the very end, a blood pact must be made.
