Hey OP, I'm a male with cPTSD too, I understand why you are drawn to this sort of thing. It's because when you have had PTSD since childhood, you don't quite feel living nor dead by adulthood, something else, more like a ghost than a human. I fell asleep without caring one way or the other. I guess what I am trying to say is, ghosts can't help you for companionship. If you happen to meet a ghost, try to learn who it used to be and pray for its soul but that's all. Wish the ghost a good afterlife and respect it and move on.

For company, you will need a human. And if you want to truly heal the cPTSD, become a parent. Children don't automatically fix your life, but when you watch yourself give a good childhood to another soul, the kind you never had, it heals you.

Not OP but that's why ghosts don't bother me and I don't bother ghosts. It's possible to become a ghost in a human body, it's called PTSD lol. When you become full of negative emotion and trauma, you have a lot in common with ghosts. And ghosts pick up on it and don't harass you.
If someone is being haunted by a ghost, I am willing to believe there's a reason for it. Yes I am blaming the victims of hauntings, because spirits of vengeance will only seek vengeance against people who remind them of something wicked.
