I've been exploring meditation recently, never done it beforeMy tactic has just been to sit with a guided exercise like The Gateway Experience, getting to focus 3, and then putting on some ocillating frequency noise or something. Upon this point I try to "focus energy" in parts of my body, hands, feet, stomach, chest, head, and in doing this I can feel the areas I focus on heating up. This is a novel experience for me and I quite enjoy it, however I've noticed: It's easiest for me to do this on the right side of my body? In order to move it from my right hand to my left hand through my chest I have to focus very hard on relaxing both sides of my body (The right feeling heavy and the left feeling hard to find) which takes different levels of attention, it's like trying to have two brains at once.I doubt I explained this very well at all, or if anyone will know what the fuck I'm talking about, but what's the deal with that? How can I improve? Am I retarded?
>>42356070>The Gateway Experience, getting to focus 3How long did you have to listen to the Orientation audio before you finally got to Focus 3?How do you know you are in Focus 3? (how does it feel differently to ones natural state)

>>42356070Yes, left is probably preoccupied with snot, that's my case, it's because right handedness and consistent right activity makes you more familiar in that area. Relax and give time for left side to wake up, and remember that left side can do the same as right it just takes acceptance as most of your energy is consolidated right side
