I believe I am an NPC, but have somehow gained consciousness. I do not know why I keep talking and texting like a moron, and I also do not know why people hate me so much.
>>42358812> keep talking and texting like a moron>I also do not know why people hate me so much.the answer is in the question
>>42358812This NPC belief is very new and not based on seemingly anything. Personal I think the whole thing is untrue.>I keep talking and texting like a moron, and I also do not know why people hate me so much. This is part of being young
>>42358812Don't sweat it OP. The people who genuinely believe in the "NPC" shit are the actual NPCs. Non-playable characters in videogames have canned lines, scripted dialogue, repeated voice lines. And you will find the type of person who brands others as 'NPC' behave exactly like that. They speak in only buzzwords:>Kek>Kys>Lel>Concession accepted>NPC>Hylic>Stfu faggot>Cuck>Globohomo>Astroturf>Bluepill/red pill/black pillYou get the picture. Those are the ones who can't speak any single piece of dialogue other than what they feel is popular or the "in" thing to say. Those are the real non-playable characters.
>>42359000I talk like this to other people in real life
>>42359000You get called all those on a regular basis don't you
>accidentally blunders into gay affirmation thread
>>42358827>This NPC belief is very newThey were called hylics in antiquity.
>>42359018Imagine being so autistic that you use internet lingo out loud...
>>42358827I was noticing NPCs 30 years before the "belief." Call them whatever you want but the mindlessness, the almost programmed mindlessness and robot-like nature of most humans is a real thing.I only call them NPCs because there's no better term yet. "'Hylic" has a more spiritual connotation to it these days. "Goyim" is a terribly loaded word and calling them "stupid fucking monkeys" like I used to would just confuse people.
I have found NPCs to be very real while doing spiritual work. They have no past lives and they live the most boring lives imaginable. If you try to look at their past lives they don't exist and it just redirects to their current life. There is also such thing as a reverse NPC. If NPCs are made of matter then the reverse NPC is made of imagination. They are both equally unreal and have no past lives but they are at opposite ends of the spectrum.
>>42358827NPC talk has dated back thousands of years just under different names. Earliest example I'm aware of is what early Christian sects would refer to as Hylics but probably goes further back than that
>>42359000judging from the responses I'd say you hit a nerve
>>42359380Thanks. I hope you hit a tree. At 90 mph.
>>42359380>judging from the responses I'd say you hit a nerveMaybe. But I wouldn't hold my breath, they aren't self aware so there's no nerve to hit, they are autonomous and blissfully ignorant of their own shrunken perceptions. They funniest part is they think the reverse situation is what's happening, they consider others to be "NPC" and they genuinely believe it, and they think it's because they have inner monologue in their own heads so that is what they take as proof of not being an NPC. That's how far gone they are, they think being locked inside their own mind prison is evidence of mental freedom lol.
>>42359316Past lives are streetshittere delusion.
>>42359407Everything you said could apply to you and you just think the reverse is happening. You're no better than them or anyone else
>>42359474No past lives is the same thing as saying you're an NPC. Nice self report.
>>42358812I'm 100% definitely an NPC myself.
>>42358812Trust me just forget you ever heard about NPC’s. Go back to fucking sluts, partying on weekends, smoking weed, being part of the crowd and enjoying life.Thank me later

>>42359000I think there is a deeper reason. Before NPC was coined, people were still sometimes graded according to levels of consciousness. Dabrowski is one of my favorites. Plato is the OG of this, and there are probably older examples too.The point is, people lower on this hierarchy have a more soulless, uncreative, and dependent way of acting, communicating, and thinking. It doesn't automatically make these people bad, but there are some things that must be countered with morality in these people. That doesn't absolve higher level people from morality either. Everyone needs morality, but it must come in different forms. However, paradoxically, morality only works if you believe it is absolute from your own perspective.
>>42360172>The theory of positive disintegration (TPD) is a theory of personality development developed by Polish psychologist Kazimierz Dąbrowski. Unlike mainstream psychology, the theory views psychological tension and anxiety as necessary for personal growth. These "disintegrative" processes are "positive", whereas people who fail to go through positive disintegration may stop at "primary integration", possessing individuality but nevertheless lacking an autonomous personality and remaining impressionable. Entering into disintegration and subsequent higher processes of development occurs through developmental potential, including over-excitability and hypersensitivity.>Unlike other theories of development such as Erikson's stages of psychosocial development, it is not assumed that even a majority of people progress through all levels. TPD is not a theory of stages, and levels do not correlate with age.
>>42358812You need to learn to love being what's true to you without caring what people think, but also not doing dumb shit because others do it.Ask questions like do I really want to do this or am I only doing it out of fear of rejection/embarrassment/isolation?Stuff like>Do you really want kids or just think you need to because everyone around you does?>Do you like alcohol or just think you need to accept drinking it at a party to fit in>Are there any activities I avoid/hate on because everyone around me would think they're cringe? You might like all the things I said above, that's fine, the important part is being able to look into yourself and derive your own personal reasons for desiring those things. That introspection is what makes you not an NPC.
>>42360172Plato:>1. Divisions of objects: The upper division is the intelligible, and it consists of forms (at the highest level) and mathematical objects). The lower division is the visible, and it consists of enduring visible (physical) objects (at the higher level) and images or surface appearances.>2. Corresponding to these four levels are four states of mind, beginning from the highest: knowledge (noesis), thought (dianoia), confidence (pistis), conjecture (eikasia).>3. Plato understands the lower levels as imperfect reflections or expressions of upper levels. Thus a shadow of a human being (an image) is an expression of a three-dimensional human being (enduring visible object), an act of justice (visible) is an expression of the Form of Justice.
>>42358812NPC's are extra helpful to the rich and Jewish communities. They are also easier to get along with than for example my co-worker that came from a ferial bush animal with a tail that gets on my nerves with low social fighting behaviour.
>>42360219>my co-worker that came from a ferial bush animal with a tail that gets on my nerves with low social fighting behaviour
>>42358812Be aware of yourself outside of yourself. Don't look through your eyes. Look at yourself from the third person perspective. Don't react to things. Stop and consider the simulation around what it is that pulls on you to react. An NPC isn't just an empty mind devoid of image and word. It a nervous system that too fondly obeys itself. Instinct coils in a moment and the NPC simply acts without thought. This is highly apparent in places like 4chan. Instinctual replies show how small, dim, unconsidered, and void most posters are. They're simply mirrors of what not to be. Same as anyone because you are you and you are separate and sovereign but also tethered by the encoded pattern of the mind.
