Compare the early Buddhists to the early Christian martyrs. Both no longer feared death, but compare for example the flow of charity. Early buddhists soaked up charity *from* their communities. Early Christians poured out charity onto their communities, to the point where even pagans commented on it and the Emperor Julian the Apostate lamented that he couldn't get the pagan clergy to do the same no matter how hard he tried. It's because Buddhism is about getting better at techniques, but Christianity actually explains and overcomes suffering itself rather than training yourself to avoid all attachment in life just to avoid suffering. Christianity is true. I'm serious, I can lay out a full discussion if you like. It all comes down to Jesus' death and resurrection. It lays bare the nature of good and evil, and why good overcomes evil by its nature contrary to most modern people's cynicism, as well as being the only acceptable response to the problem of evil under theism.
