popular forms of witchcraft seem to just be arts and crafts with some religious nonsense added in for flavor. I mean, more power to you I guess, if you like creating stuff, who am I to ruin your fun? But there’s no real power in the specifics of what you do. There are entities beyond our understanding that are attracted to such things, and often play along with people, giving the illusion that the specifics of what they’re doing actually matter, but it’s all just the power of these entities and who they ultimately choose to empower and interact with. Think of witchcraft more as an elaborate ritual to gain the attention of “the gods” in the hopes that they’re do what you want them to do. As far as covens, it seems nothing more than a religious book club, the most effective way to interact with these entities is in private

The specifics of what you do only matter insomuch as they attract the attention of the entities and convince them to play along. It’s pure ego and delusion to believe that you have magical powers. they play along with you so that you believe your little arts and crafts and rituals actually work. I never did anything specific that I learned from books or religions or anything, and yet during my rituals and I achieved the same feats by getting their attention.

>>42363339i found a really old plastic bead bracelet with glow in the dark beads, broke it down, and restrung the beads as little figurines to represent the federal agents or other no-goodniks who think they can blend in. and another figurine for a little fun thing just to see how long it takes to see it manifest in a really specific subcommunity.i used the birch wand to enchant them, and they became magnetized and "stuck" to the birch wand tip. my spruce wands repel little things. interesting that.
