I'm not sure the exact date (anywhere from 3 to 5 years ago), but one night just a little past 12 AM my mom called me outside to look at a weird object in the sky. She kept on telling me it was a ufo, but I didn't believe it. It flew around weirdly, in circular motions and back and forth, almost in a taunting playful way. But I've never seen any manmade object move the way it did. It changed colours and looked like it had lights coming out of it and even had smaller orb shaped objects come out of it or come near it. We were out there for almost 2 hours staring at it and talking about it but it only felt like 20 minutes. Since the night we saw it, we never really talked about it again. But this year I started working on an art project about aliens (and other x shit, but aliens are the main focus right now) so I decided to do some more in-depth research and started to read some books to get inspired. I can't remember which book it was exactly, but it started to talk about how alien aircraft fly in unnatural ways, and how people become transfixed on the ufos/aliens they see, and how time doesn't seem to work properly. This all matched up to the thing we saw in the sky, and made me remember it after not thinking about it for so long. >>42364265I really cant say how far away it was from us, but we only saw it as the ball of changing light with the extra lights sticking out (like the attached pic in the post above) and couldn't see that it was star shaped like in the video when it zooms in. It was seen in Winnipeg, Manitoba (why it chose to come to this shithole I don't know).I'll just say this was around the downtown area, I don't want to give away exactly where I saw it because I'm scared now and I don't want any chance of someone figuring out its me and my mom.I didn't have a phone at the time and neither did my mom (convenient excuse, I know, we were very poor at the time) BUT I had an Mp3 player my friend gifted me which had a microphone to record. After staring at the thing for a bit I went inside to get it and started recording the last 20 minutes into the encounter. I used to have this weird fixation with recording conversations and sounds which is why I was recording, and since I couldn't get a picture of the object I wanted an audio recording of our reaction and description of it. My mom and sister still live about 150km out of the city so when I go there for the night it's basically free of light pollution and is the perfect place to try and get sightings. I just got back from a trip out there and last night I was committed to seeing something, I had planned it out to have a couple of drinks to lower any anxiety I had about the situation and went out with my mom said the lord's prayer and a smaller more personal prayer just asking to see evidence or proof of something bigger than us out there. When I opened my eyes I saw a single streak of light fly through the stars and that was enough for me.
