I fully understand your position, it was mine for almost 10 years. I never found any pagan practice that wasn't pure LARP from a handful (at most) of dysgenic weirdos that also had complexes about Christians persecuting them.People irl have accused me of trad LARP because I'm interested in the Orthodox church, but in reality I already live pretty trad with my wife and kids, so if anything I'm eliminating LARP by finding a true home for my hope for mystical union with God. Something to actually participate in instead of speculative LARP in group chats and discord servers. Feels good man.

Hippies would say something like "worship the creator not the creation" or something else, and I always resonated with that. Needless to say I don't have many good things aside from christ and worldly vices to lean on, so I'm going to lean defensive in that regard. Christ flailed about angrily saying to the people "stop making a mockery of my father's house!" I feel that way all the time despite myself being far from respectable, I feel like a kid that's upset that they can't have their cake and eat it too. I'm in my own world of sorts, just the bible and lots of empty silence and vices.
