You get the concept of Thunder and Lightining and Rain and then someone put human traits to that and then we got Zeus or whatever. My point is that human beings do this. We will take natural or abstract concepts or things and we will give them human traits or turn them into a personification of a human. Think about Love, what did we do to it? Turned into a woman, a godess, Afrodite. I bet it is the same thing with this thing. It probably was not a real being, but some kind of atistic work. Or, which may be the case, a being like that really existed and they registered it. I find very hard to believe such a beings one day walked the Earth, but I can be wrong.
For me the lines between "god", alien and angel is getting really blurred.
