What did you see during your NDE?For me it started with everything becoming so bright that I literally couldn't even read or see anything, and then the tunnel, but it wasn't actually a tunnel, it was more like tunnel vision almost, and a 'tunnel-like way of thinking.' I started thinking about how our vision has a right boundary, a left boundary, an upper bound, and a bottom bound, and a point in the center. You could even imagine a dot in the center of your vision. And I started thinking about THAT "tunnel", so to speak. And then I started contemplating when I am dead there will no longer be a "center." And it started freaking me out because I realized that we don't know if we will have a "center" in our next life. It made me realize how truly alien and unusual the afterlife could actually be. It could be unlike anything we can imagine. Then I had a vision of a big brick apartment building that I've never seen before. It was a dream like experience seeing a brick building. And I had a sort of innate knowledge that building is where my NEXT life would be. Not a past life but that is where I was about to go if I died. To some brick building would be my new house in my new life. And apparently I was going to be an Asian man living in that brick apartment building I guess. The brick building did not seem special in any way or look familiar. It was just some dumbass boring brick apartment building and I barely could see what was in the area just the building itself really. I was looking at the corner of the building. That's about it. Lol.
Interesting. The clinging to the center of your vision as though it was a tunnel is an interesting variation on people feeling like they really have to go through a tunnel of light. Either way you're feeling like tunnels are really important.If you're not Asian in this life, your NDE is also points against the /pol/ headcanon that you can only reincarnate within your race.

In Afghanistan during a convoy I essentially scared myself to death. Two vehicle convoy the lead vehicle turned a corner out of sight when that happened the guy next to me grabbed my arm and said “Stop stop stop” as soon as my foot hit the brake my vision closed in on itself to a darkness I’ve never experienced before. I felt this sperm shaped ectoplasm creature leave my body from the base of my neck (roughly i’d assume the size of my head). The ectoplasm hovered above my body for what felt like minutes but in all reality was probably a few seconds. The ectoplasm came back down through my neck and I regained my vision. It ended up being an “old IED” on the side of a building.

Seems kind of like cope but for it to be so transformative it was a profound thing to look into regardless. Me and him were very similar where we just fear death 24/7 and crave literally just knowing something pleasant is after this.
>>42370458I think things just happened too fast for my brain to process. I’ve been trying to make sense of what I saw for years now. Closest thing I felt resonated with me was Alawite-anon. Also i’m paraphrasing but when Jesus died on the cross and it said something along the lines of “he took his last breath and felt his spirit fly above him” I’ve had dreams where i’m laying on my back (for example lying down on a train cart) and there was this scary black smoke flying around me and I watched the ectoplasm leave through my heart and interact with the smoke.
