Yes it is normal for humans to be visited by the beings. It's not normal for the human to be able to remain fully conscious during the visits.
I spent several years with nearly full conscious awareness during a majority of the interactions with the beings from the stars.
There are no demons. That's fictional narrative. There are many forms of other beings that may be mistaken for the fictional characters described by the fiction. If you dismiss everything other than your own direct personal observations you can work on developing your ability to remain fully conscious during the interactions.
They are only beings like ourselves with technology far more advanced than our own. Far more. The communication technology is able to take control of the imagery of your conscious awareness.. and can rewrite the visual and emotional memory within your mind.. but it is 'only' technology and your natural human cognitive capabilities are able to overcome it. Not easy though.. and even more difficult to deal with the consequences.
What is your specific question? Work on your ability to fully recall the events of every night or time you are sleeping.. or when you are in a remote enough place for them to have potentially accessed you, and the situation is under your own control to develop further observations of.

In fairness to the original sources of much of the modern fictional concepts the original people reporting that they had seen something didn't understand what they were in the presence of and their imagination ran wild in their efforts to comprehend and describe what they were seeing. I had to learn a lot about advanced physics concepts back before the rest of the humans were aware of them due to the types of things that the beings were occasionally showing me.
Much of the interactions were in non physical dreamstate forms of consciousness while they continuously punctuated the dream like experiences with deliberate physical displays of the vehicles and other technology.
They made a point to remind constantly that they were not 'just' dream visions during the night. Watching how quickly the other humans who saw the same evidence were able to completely forget about the memories of what they had seen caused me to understand how they are able to keep the public unaware; even if they see it for themselves they become confused and forget within a short time.. from seconds to weeks depending on what they had just seen. Often if it was very clear they managed to forget by becoming confused about whether they were remembering a dream or something that was in a movie.. and soon the entire scene was dismissed as something that they didn't recall exactly where they had seen it

But there are no demons. It's just very advanced technology that you have to deal with. The imagery within your mind is the image projection field that you are going to have to develop mastery of

I was definitely fully conscious at the time, so that's an interesting tidbit.

Wow though, the manipulation of consciousness was not something I knew about - during my experience I delved deeply into the sexual abuse from my childhood and heavily repressed memories came to light so that's insane! Maybe they are trying to help me? I feel so much lighter and less stressed since they visited. It's weird.

During my experience, I didn't see anything except for rustling grass and the warping of their invisibility cloaking. It was more the sound they made to try to scare me but when I addressed them directly they stopped trying to scare me and made my microwave beep.
