The Church came in and made God an individual entity.
When you start to conceptualise God as goodness instead of some guy in a book, it starts to make more sense.

I'm not sure God runs the pvp server, the pvp server just is. We participate in it and we choose to keep coming back, even if we suffer. We're actually addicted to it because it's stimulating, educational and we can find the good. Or you can stare into the light and become the light. Up to you. Infinite amount of universes to live in.

This world is like heroin and we're addicted. They told us it was addictive and dangerous and we did it anyway so here we are, all of us, junkies.

The problem started when we got tired of being one with God so we left to experience something new, away from God.

Earth is basicly a free for all, a pvp server, and we are not the top dogs. The game has been running for much longer than our local run. God is not policing anyone so obviously some old strong beings will abuse the weaker players, us. We're still within God's domain but we are not individually 'safe'. In the end, God is running the server so its all his data, mine, yours and even the immortal galactic overlords. They are trying hard to keep their share of the data by not dying and that is the ultimate disconnect. That being said, when God reboot the server, they will die like the rest of us and God will get it all. There's only one God, the sys admin, the rest, the players, are all larping, even the big shots. They are afraid to die and will do anything and everything to stay alive, including using us to fuel their power trip.

What a phrase, it would be a nice title if a book. I think that epitomises my existence, I've remained good to everybody I come into contact with, even while being bitter inside, I could easily look for excuses to take it out on the world like most in my position. I help people (who seem good) any opportunity I get even though I barely have much more to give. I take pride in that fact, but at the end of my wasted life none of this will comfort me at all.

No, convincing yourself would be talking to yourself internally, and conditioning to not see the suffering wouldn't be truth. You see the world as it is without the left brain filter where you're parsing the data. That's the first step. The second step would be listing to your intuition/heart/conscious and choosing to find the good. "God" seems to see the world in such a way, a beautiful sadness and unconditional love.
