ITT: Weird simulation / NPC quirks
What are some weird things you have noticed about normies/NPCs that don't make sense when you stating thinking about it? I have a few
>Normies have mediocre low-paying job - can afford a nice car, house, and 1-2 trips a year
>Never seeing neighbors bringing groceries in, and they leave or enter their home empty handed whenever you do see them
>If you have noisy neighbors who argue - listen in and notice their arguments don't make sense
>Become interested in new topic or idea - week passes and everyone is suddenly referencing this new topic
>Luck clearly existing. You more than likely know 'that guy' who literally just randomly wins every game of chance, is better off in life, etc
>>
>>42382412
All they talk about is Epstein.
>>
>>42382412
Here some I notice.
>Many that I know don't know what they'd do without work. Not from a money perspective but the idea that they'd have no clue what to do with all that time if they had no job.
>They're obsessed with "going out". Has nothing to do with what they do, where they go, or even how joyful it was. You just can't be at home you just got to be "out" or your somehow a failure. Like if you ask them what you should actually go out and do they always reply with I dunno you just gotta go out.
>>
>>42382621
It's the same with 'doing something alone' with them i.e drinking. Obviously I get the idea of getting black out drunk every night, alone or not, is cringe alcoholic behavior. But it's like they believe if you do X thing with others, it's perfectly fine, but X alone is utterly horrific loser behavior, lol.

The one that bothers me the most is how uncomfortable silence or darkness makes the average normie melt down.
The second they walk through the door or get in their car, lights and radio are turned on and up. Phone always at the ready because it's a source of light and noise. The few times I've gone to campsites instead of backwoods camping I notice how everyone has Bluetooth speakers and lanterns everywhere.

>>Many that I know don't know what they'd do without work.
That's why people immediately ask "what do you do?" As soon as they meet you. They're defined by their job and need to know if they are above or below you on the social spectrum.

Why are you niggerfaggots even here? You'll never pass. Go blow up some Palestinian children or something but seriously, give up.

Found an npc.
>>
>>42383103
I love darkness and silence. Maybe I'll go find some secluded place and dig a hole, then insulate said hole, so I can have a space that's entirely dark and silent.
I've had the urge to turn off all the lights in our house so I can actually be in darkness with just enough light to stumble around, but my family keeps at least one light on for literal ritual purposes (that I will not describe)

They are in retarded debt in point 1. Its fucking insane dude. You have no idea how retarded they are. Like perpetually in cc debt. Like a years worth of savings on average with interest.
>>
>NPC quirks
I don't know what you'd call it but what about the thing where they go 180 on someone over fucking nothing. Like the time they all decided tom cruise is "gay" and uncool forever because he made a funny noise in jest and jumped on a couch on a late show.

NPCs will pretend to be your friend for YEARS. Hell...they might even be sincere. But one day you do something totally innocuous like accidentally hiccup while laughing or mispronounce a word, then they give you THE LOOK and silently freak out and you never hear from them again.

That shit really gets me for some reason.
>>
They will act indifferent towards anything I show them. Days/weeks later they will show me that same thing as if I had never talked about it before.
>>
>>42385556
I'm sorry you can't be alone with your thoughts, enjoy a night sky or appreciate the natural wonders the world will show you when the sun goes down.
>>
>>42383103
>People like to party and listen to music while camping

who fucking knew.
>>
>>42383103
I love dim lights and music, atmospheric and what not

Am I dim NPC or semi NPC?
>>
They can't stop talking, even if it's inane shit. And they have no script for contemplation
>>
>>42382412

>Become interested in new topic or idea - week passes and everyone is suddenly referencing this new topic

Been having this happening, but not even necessarily with things to even paid much attention too.

I remember getting obsessed with Greenland sharks and then a few weeks later Greenland was in the news. Or how I got obsessed with the works of Koji Suzuki again, then he died a few days after. Then you had the Turkish shooter calling himself 'Konata' from Lucky Star, and I had met a Discord user who loves her like weeks before. And the Scientology thing happened like week or so after I looked into it.

Another I hate is when I start buying something that I have seen for awhile, then it is seemingly never stocked again.
>>
>>42386954
Are you missing the broader point of the post on purpose?
>>42386970
There's nothing inherently wrong with liking those things. My point was that any amount of darkness or silence tends to cause a great unease in the average person that they will actively work to eliminate. As in they cannot stand to be alone with nothing but their thoughts for even a moment.
>>
>>42387096
>Another I hate is when I start buying something that I have seen for awhile, then it is seemingly never stocked again.
This man, I fucking hate it. I'm making you profit and you pull it off shelves wtf, when it's been there forever but it only disappears once *I* start buying it regularly. If it does not disappear, then ads suddenly pop up on TV and everywhere

This. They repeat things I told them verbatim.
>>

Reed's ginger brew. It goes either way though, sometimes they put everything I buy on sale.
>>
>>42382412
>Normies that seem to always have kids but never reproduce
>Using the term "different" as a placeholder for "better", they use this a lot to defend child labor and child soldiers and claim they're not abuse
>Bodies that seem to look fake - like the head being average but the body being too perfect, or a kid who looks like a shrunken adult, people who look like the general idea of a person
>Expressing interest in something causes the rest of the world to become hostile to those specific things - certain news articles will use similar names or faces to "scare" you out of those interests
>>
>>42387096
One time I had a bad hangover and had to go out the next day. Went to a chemist since my head was splitting and this Asian lady showed me a 'hangover cure' that was like a bottle with no English and a picture of a tiger. When I drank it, it tasted like lemon, and 10 mins later my hangover was 100% cured. Never saw this product ever again despite it being seemingly magical, like a potion from an RPG.
>>
>>42382412
They have shit taste in games.
>>
>>42382412
Has anyone else noticed they all post that Ellie reaction image from TLOU with her making a funny face? It's seriously an anti-spiritual person saying weird stuff against spirituality or religion, either that or them talking about drugs. One or two times and it'd be a coincidence but when it happens 7+ times in the past 2 months something is off.
>>
>>42387902
I know what you mean. They also post that final fantasy mmo pic of the girl with her mouth like wide open (this is a new iteration of the same meme, I believe).
They always post insanely consumerist or hedonist type stuff. Or alternatively they post babby level philosophical arguments
>>
>>42387187
>Expressing interest in something causes the rest of the world to become hostile to those specific things - certain news articles will use similar names or faces to "scare" you out of those interests
I noticed this with the epstein stuff, where suddenly 1-2 months later the news feed was filled with stories that seem to bash on people who hate pedos. For example the chud doorcam guy that happened very recently, and another story where 'pedo hunters' accidentally beat up an innocent man. Many news stories seem to be making fun of the person reading them in a very strange way, I don't know how to describe it.
>>
>>42387977
Is that all you want to talk about
>>
>>42386659
If you tell them something, they won't process it until they see it in the news. It's easy to spot once you notice. As soon as it appears on TV or on some popular news sites (for zoomies) it's like the script module is activated in their brain. Before that you could show it to them directly and you'll just get treated to the fluoride cattle stare.
>>
i have noticed when you say you're not into some norm entertainment like sports or GoT or harry potter, they get a little upset, like "i have to do this, why don''t you?"
>>
>>42387920
I've seen that one a lot as well, yeah. You're right, it does make sense it's a consumerist thing, just weird they latch onto a few specific images.
>>
>>42388271
Can you fuckers post an example or what? TY
>>
>>42382412
They have an urge to breed and have a family.
For some reason they're so eager to bring more souls to this trap
>>
>>42388370
not really a quirk, that's part of their main program
>>
>>42383103
>liking being able to see and warding off predators makes you an npc
Good work exposing yourself as a basement dweller who actually pretends he'd go camping with no light source for the night.
>>
>>42387096
So what does your schizophrenia tell you about an anon coming up and calling you a schizophrenic retard making the absolute worst posts and threads on this site? Ooooo watch out, this post might have that spooky scary 666 in it somewhere.

>>42387187
This is just schizobabble. What do you mean "never reproduce"? Do you have hidden cameras in their bedrooms to prove they never fuck before the new kid shows up 9 months later?
>>
>>42388580
Again are you missing the broader point on purpose or just retarded?
>>
>>42388612

>So what does your schizophrenia tell you about an anon coming up and calling you a schizophrenic retard making the absolute worst posts and threads on this site? Ooooo watch out, this post might have that spooky scary 666 in it somewhere.

My 'schizophrenia' tells me you are a tincan or digger that is using crappy gaslighting.

Like this is /x/, tf do you expect. This is like someone sperging out over an anon posting recipes, like tf!?!

This also makes them very easy to manipulate, you just have to make them think they came up with an idea that you plant.
I don't want to manipulate them into talking about things I like though, I just don't talk to people about things I enjoy in my private time.
