I'm not sure if this is true or not, it's just something some schizo on /sci/ said once, but apparently the Y chromosome is unique to men, and it cannot be derived from the X chromosome. Meaning, females are genetically incomplete. If all that existed were males, you could still seperate the X chromosome out and engineer females that only had X chromosomes from that. But you cannot get X from Y or Y from X. They must be distinct from the start.That means that in our gene pool as a species, there are way more X chromosomes than Y chromosomes in total. Men are, genetically speaking, more important than women. I'm not saying men are superior to women, or better than women, or anything like that. I am saying men are objectively more important than women, specifically in regards to the genetic diversity and long-term survival of our species.So when the ancient myths tell tales of women being made out of men, taken from a part of the male, it's actually completely accurate to what geneticists have discovered is in fact the scientific truth.
