what's the spookiest thing you ever experienced?
poltergeist made a large plush doll walk into the living room and sit down cross-legged, facing the TVpicrel was literally me
child birth.
the delaware congressman
a spook stole my wallet
My kitchen light turned on by itself. I was alone that day, so nobody could have turned it on. There's probably an explanation other than something spooky, haha
>>42384228>chilling in bed deeply relaxed>listening to one of those hemisync focus 12 tapes>open my eyes for a sec>ghost girl with pale skin and white gown standing at the end of my bed smiling>startles me so bad that I sit up and the wired headphones cause my phone to get flung off my nightstand>start muttering "nah..." like I couldn't believe it>she is just standing there, not disappearing - looking solid >she finally disappears after like 20-30 seconds like a mirage disappearing (like those little heat wisps)It was just a hypnagogic hallucination, you get them sometimes when you practice lucid dreaming and remaining aware while laying on your back prior to sleep. Still, that was pretty spoopy.
>>42384228scariest? finding several cats hung from trees in some woods near my house.most unexplainable? seeing my deceased father standing at the foot of my bed then receiving a phonecall from my sister crying saying shed just seen my deceased father standing at the foot of her bed.best spoop? finding a 20 note on the floor of my bedroom after i'd searched the room looking for money. it literally was not there one second, turned around, it was there. unmissable. i somehow KNEW my dad put it there. i sat on the bed and cried for 10 minutes. loved my old man. hed always help me out when i was broke. even after death apparently.i could write another 20 spoops

>>42384228Finding out how bad things are really are in current time.
>>42384567Similar story to what happened to my husband when he was younger, strange stuff.
>>42384575>typed from a house with potable water coming from the tap>shits in hole that takes shit away>20 min walk from food Pretty good considering the VAST AVERAGE OF HUMAN EXISTANE!
>>42384567... another funny one...12 years old>me and 5 friends decide to cut through a graveyard one night to save time getting home>about halfway through we see a bright light ahead and assume its caretaker>to avoid trouble we climb up on a 6ft wall high that runs the perimiter of graveyard and start walking along it>bright light suddenly appears behind us on the wall>its just a ball of white light attached to nothing, no caretaker>we nope and start running along wall>reach the end of wall and leap 1 by 1 into a sprint>didn't stop running until we got to our streethow we didn't lose our balance running along the wall, or snap our ankles when we jumped off, i'll never know. i didn't even look back on the wall. one good look at it was all i needed. fuck knows what it was. ball lightning? we didn't stop to find out
>>42384567Elaborate on the hung kitties...Witchcraft?Did it happened in the US?
>>42384898uk. fully grown cats, dead, maybe 10, hanging from string on branches. someone had obviously been killing/hanging cats. at first we didn't know what they were, they just looked like coloured balls of fur hanging there. my friend and i were morbidly curious and poked one with a stick. when we realised they were cats we looked at them for a minute and left. pretty much avoided that place after that. i realise now how much danger we were probably in at the time.
I was at the laundromat cleaning my sheets and clothes and my clothes dried first so I brought it back to my apartment. Then I waited for my sheets to dry and when they were done I opened up the drier door and there was one of those drier sheets in there with them. I don't use drier sheets
I sleepwalked once. I was only half asleep and watched myself flailing my arms around involuntarily.
>>42384228Getting shot in a dream when i was 6, it was just semi realistic but pretty scare when i lied in the dream after being shot, realized it's just a dream, wanted to wake up but it took a bit until i managed to wake up.This and some other event led me to not really dreaming anymore (or at least being really forgetful about them) even after all those years
>>42384228To be honest, I actually don't think I've experienced anything spooky in my entire life. I've experienced outright fear before, but never spookiness. I want to have spooky situations, but so far, I haven't.
>>42384320That's not spooky.>>42384255Spooky doesn't mean bad.>>42384253I don't know all the details but I'm going to assume that you mean child birth that isn't spooky for any reason.
>>42384398this but at the exact moment I held in a disgustingly huge nut it’s a sign(al)
>>42384567Can you post more?
>>42384575Spooky does not mean discontent. Holy fuck, why is everyone pretending not to know what the word spooky means so that they can use it as a springboard to bitch about whatever annoys them?

>>42384228>be me, teenager>mother, grandmother and grandfather suddenly pass away minutes apart from each other in the night while in hospital for completely separate reasons>wake up in morning to my father telling me the news>shocked, cry, go to washroom after hugging and crying my eyes out to wash my face and clean my ugly peach-fuzz off my face>open mirror to go into the medicine cabinet behind it>3 perfect piles of brownish-red powder are stacked on each shelf in a perfect pile, each pile smaller than the last>literally no possible way this could have occured without getting powder everywhere or having it fall behind the slits on the rear of the shelves>look under to see from the bottom of the cabinet, the powerder is just somehow hovering there>call in my dad and siblings>they are all equally as dumbfounded as to how or why>sister says "maybe its a sign from them">sister goes to ash cigarette in the ashtray she brought with her>powder collapses and passes through all the rear parts of the shelves and out of the medicine cabinet>lands in ashtray outing the cigarette>all 3 died of cancers caused by smoking
>>42385415mother died of lung cancer and my grand parents deaths were accelerated because of cancer treatments, although it wasn't the cancer specifically that got them. Grandmother had a bad heart and grandfather had a stroke.
>>42385415>>42385421still have no idea what the powder was either, it glistened a little and had an incredibly herbal smell, like it was freshly ground. i think my father still has some of it in a little vial he kept.
>>42385325No, you're responding in bad faith. I'm not going to explain the meaning of a word you already know to you just so you can argue with me.
>>42384665kill yourself, illiterate all caps boomer
>>42384967People who do that are usually the worst type of coward that wouldn't even be able to harm a human. The right thing to do would have been hiding and waiting for them to show up and then either delivering justice yourself or handing them to authorities, whatever you prefer personally
>>42384228 i pooped a great big poop and there was nothing when i wiped. then i stood up to flush and there was no poopoo in the bowl. it was all a ghost, a phantom. a spectral anomoly
>>42384246twenty twenty two, I was getting attacked by lizard people and demons non stop for a year straight

>>42384398My mom used to watch TV in the kitchen at night, she was the only one who used it. After she died, I got woken up randomly at 2-3 AM by loud TV noise in the kitchen. Apparently it turned itself on. I slowly walked in sleepy and spooked out of my mind and sat down on the chair, staring at the blinding TV light
>>42384540Did you have any sensations during the tapes? I wanna hallucinate like that so badly too but nothing ever happened on the tapes. How do I have to feel or imagine or think while doing them?
>>42385634we were probably 8 at the time, only 2 of us.
I found a dead emaciated baby or monkey buried in the sandbox where I used to play. Thought it was a creepy doll at first. Still haunts me to this day
>>42385291i came home from work one day to find a girl standing in my living room. probably aged 10+. she ran towards the kitchen. i gave chase shouting obscenities thinking i was being burgled by the local street kids. i entered the kitchen, shouting, fists at the ready, expecting to get jumped by a group of kids.... nobody there. i checked windows, searched cupboards... nothing. everything was locked and secure. i used to manage a dry cleaning shop. we had a cctv camera in the front of the shop looking at the door/counter, and a monitor at the back near the machines, so you could see who enters the shop on the monitor while working out back on the machines. there was also an infrared bell chime on the front door ("NEE NORRR") that alerts you every time the door opens. anyway, one evening, im out back, i look up at the monitor, and there's a guy standing at the counter. "Shit", i thought, a customer, and they've probably been standing there for 10 minutes waiting. Why didn't i hear the doorbell? So i take a closer look on the monitor and it's a man, i'd guess 30ish, wearing a white shirt and waistcoat. he's just standing there, arms by his side, at the counter.so i make my way to the front of the shop, maybe 7 steps, turn the bend... and there's nobody there. the door bell again didnt ring. wtf? i check the door, "NEEE NORRR", works fine. i go outside to see if anybody is walking away from the shop, nobody there.so i went back in and checked the cctv. nothing. nobody on camera. just me walking around looking confused.some time later i mentioned this to an elderly woman that had been working there since before i joined. she'd had the same experience multiple times and joked it was a ghost.
>>42384540This is only semi-related but can you hook a brother up with a link to those audios?
>>42384228
>>42386997This was a long time ago so I can't really remember. But there was often a strong buzz throughout the body. Focus 10 is the perfect meditation springboard and the triggers really do work after some point. I think it was probably the freeflow 12 tape and I wasn't trying to do anything, just chilling laying on my back. I would follow along with the exercises a few times then listen a few times without doing anything at all other than relaxing. Not even paying attention to listening, just simply being. If you lay on your back and watch your mind and watch yourself watching the mind as you fall asleep then weird shit will occasionally occur such as lucid dreams beginning without any lapse in awareness or you may even wake the next morning in samadhi. There's also the hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations + sleep paralysis where you'll see shadow people, spiders, floating colours and other weird shit.>>42387090This link probably still works, I see them posted occasionally in random threadshttps://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/42065608/#q42065730
