My kitchen light turned on by itself. I was alone that day, so nobody could have turned it on. There's probably an explanation other than something spooky, haha

It was just a hypnagogic hallucination, you get them sometimes when you practice lucid dreaming and remaining aware while laying on your back prior to sleep. Still, that was pretty spoopy.

most unexplainable? seeing my deceased father standing at the foot of my bed then receiving a phonecall from my sister crying saying shed just seen my deceased father standing at the foot of her bed.

best spoop? finding a 20 note on the floor of my bedroom after i'd searched the room looking for money. it literally was not there one second, turned around, it was there. unmissable. i somehow KNEW my dad put it there. i sat on the bed and cried for 10 minutes. loved my old man. hed always help me out when i was broke. even after death apparently.

uk. fully grown cats, dead, maybe 10, hanging from string on branches. someone had obviously been killing/hanging cats. at first we didn't know what they were, they just looked like coloured balls of fur hanging there. my friend and i were morbidly curious and poked one with a stick. when we realised they were cats we looked at them for a minute and left. pretty much avoided that place after that. i realise now how much danger we were probably in at the time.

I was at the laundromat cleaning my sheets and clothes and my clothes dried first so I brought it back to my apartment. Then I waited for my sheets to dry and when they were done I opened up the drier door and there was one of those drier sheets in there with them. I don't use drier sheets

I sleepwalked once. I was only half asleep and watched myself flailing my arms around involuntarily.

Getting shot in a dream when i was 6, it was just semi realistic but pretty scare when i lied in the dream after being shot, realized it's just a dream, wanted to wake up but it took a bit until i managed to wake up.

My mom used to watch TV in the kitchen at night, she was the only one who used it.

i came home from work one day to find a girl standing in my living room. probably aged 10+. she ran towards the kitchen. i gave chase shouting obscenities thinking i was being burgled by the local street kids. i entered the kitchen, shouting, fists at the ready, expecting to get jumped by a group of kids.... nobody there. i checked windows, searched cupboards... nothing. everything was locked and secure.


i used to manage a dry cleaning shop. we had a cctv camera in the front of the shop looking at the door/counter, and a monitor at the back near the machines, so you could see who enters the shop on the monitor while working out back on the machines. there was also an infrared bell chime on the front door ("NEE NORRR") that alerts you every time the door opens. anyway, one evening, im out back, i look up at the monitor, and there's a guy standing at the counter. "Shit", i thought, a customer, and they've probably been standing there for 10 minutes waiting. Why didn't i hear the doorbell? So i take a closer look on the monitor and it's a man, i'd guess 30ish, wearing a white shirt and waistcoat. he's just standing there, arms by his side, at the counter.

so i make my way to the front of the shop, maybe 7 steps, turn the bend... and there's nobody there. the door bell again didnt ring. wtf? i check the door, "NEEE NORRR", works fine. i go outside to see if anybody is walking away from the shop, nobody there.

so i went back in and checked the cctv. nothing. nobody on camera. just me walking around looking confused.

some time later i mentioned this to an elderly woman that had been working there since before i joined. she'd had the same experience multiple times and joked it was a ghost.

This was a long time ago so I can't really remember. But there was often a strong buzz throughout the body. Focus 10 is the perfect meditation springboard and the triggers really do work after some point. I think it was probably the freeflow 12 tape and I wasn't trying to do anything, just chilling laying on my back. I would follow along with the exercises a few times then listen a few times without doing anything at all other than relaxing. Not even paying attention to listening, just simply being.

If you lay on your back and watch your mind and watch yourself watching the mind as you fall asleep then weird shit will occasionally occur such as lucid dreams beginning without any lapse in awareness or you may even wake the next morning in samadhi. There's also the hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations + sleep paralysis where you'll see shadow people, spiders, floating colours and other weird shit.
