So I tried 'CE5' a while ago. Took me a while to digest what happened but I keep thinking about it and have decided to share; curious if anyone else has had similar experiences:>Read about some basic CE5 protocols>Go into backyard and look up into the sky>Relax and focus on a gradually progressing set of ideas>Awareness of self, my place in the cosmos, etc.>Visualize my will spreading out and inviting other intentional beingsI used a fairly basic protocol. Essentially a meditative mantra with a final stage of 'beacon' visualization.>Wait a while watching the sky repeating the final mantra and watching for anything of note>Nothing >I go back inside and settle in for the night>About 3-4 hours later I'm working in my office finishing up some work>I hear the front door open, then distinctly hear footsteps walk through the house and into the kitchen>Pause what I'm doing for a moment and think to myself; 'ah, the person I live with got something out of their car' >But I also mentally note that I didn't hear them leave, which is strange>I hear the fridge open, close, then more footsteps>I hear the front door open again>Honestly at this point I didn't correlate anything and just assumed it was this person looking for something >But in the back of my mind I'm still listening for sounds>Realize I never heard anyone walk down the hall past my office, which they would have to to reach their bedroom
>This is about an hour after I first heard the door open and I come out and check on the house>The other person has already gone to bedThis is when I realize the person had gone to bed long before, probably when I was still outside doing the meditation. At this point I wake them up and ask them if they had gone outside, much to their confusion. To be honest I didn't immediately correlate what I'd heard with the CE5 protocol. My first thought was literally that someone had tried to break in and realized people were home. But after a few minutes I drew my conclusions.I'm still not sure what to think about this. But it does make me both excited and hesitant to try CE5 again. I do think the fact they went into the fridge was supposed to be signal familiarity and comfort (breaking bread?) but the idea that something was out there waiting for me to answer its beckoning just as I had done was startling.
Maybe I should mention I also have some past strange experiences of various types. None of them are directly related but suffice to say my threshold for acknowledgment of these kinds of things is pretty low. I wouldn't have attempted CE5 unless I knew there was something to it. I guess I can discuss some of that context as well if anyone is interested.
