When you're reading something to an entire church group, there will pretty much always be a mix of regenerated true believers and unregenerate, so of course it has to clearly say 'don't sin'. The regenerate dont really need that 'law' because the Spirit works within them (thought its never bad to be encouraged) to that end, while the unregenerate need to reminded all the more. The Law is only needed for the lawless.
