Does physical strength carry over into the afterlife? I grinded my ass off to bench 405, so I'd be extremely disappointed to lose that progress just because I died and have to fucking repeat the cycle of cuckoldry again.

>inb4 ego death, samsara
Shut the fuck up. I heard that training remodels your bones, so your bones are literally stronger. Future anthropologists would be able to tell how strong I was, with my neanderthal-like frame and musculature. The question is, DOES IT CARRY OVER INTO WHEREEVER IM GOING?

No.

A lot of cemeteries require lot fees now...
If your loved ones don't pay them, you'll be places in cremation & turned to ash.

You either strengthen yourself within the material world by cultivating your body, or you strengthen yourself within the immaterial by cultivating your spirit. By building up your body you are building up your physical connection to the present and thr immediate with hyper awareness of physical reality around you with your improved senses. That's why excerciss is good for mental health, you errode dissociation. But to delve into the spiritual you have to retract and dissociate, numbing yourself to the material world.

Build your body = you associate with material reality

Build your spirit = diassociate from material reality

Of course the former carries a lot of risks. Just as you can fuck up your body working out you can fuck up your soul and spirit, which is why religion is a thing to act as training cycle as you would with physical excercise. If you don't bring a structure you just become a schizophrenic like tren monster losing his mind at the gym.

If you're in Christ, you get a glorified body like His own at the resurrection. It's a massive upgrade. Indestructible, can fly, can go through walls, etc. I'd assume physical strength will not be an issue.

It carries over. To exert more strength is to exert more willpower, when you train your body you train your nerves as well physically but mentally and spiritually you also push yourself further and are able to exert more power. People who forsake physical training are third rate mages, if they can't lift 100 pounds how the hell do you expect me to believe you can force some ill-willed entity out of your personal space? But if you harden yourself to lift 400, can show that grit, know what it is like to exert power? You can exert power too and kick things' asses. Physical training directly increases psychic potential in a near 1 to 1 relationship, your body becoming more neanderthal-ish is a literal manifestation of your will, that is by definition magic.

no such thing as strength post mortem

The discipline will carry over. You train your mind, too. You are doing a difficult thing rather than playing video games and eating cheetos.
You won't be able to "punch God" if that's what you're thinking.

Realistically, why could this not be the case?
>>
>>42408783
I imagine it would be like trying to punch air and equally effective.
>>
>>42408801
yes but after death would assume you'd be on the same dimension as god so you could at least do something no?
>>
>>42408819
Not the same dimension of God, only under its observation.
This world is to be away from god.
The spiritual realm is like being in his backyard.
You're on the property, but not in the house.
>>
>>42408664
idk what if things in the other realm took only as much effort as playing a game? and somehow they still had an advantage.
not glorifying it, gaming can be an addiction.
just a question.

Seems only logical that physical strength would stay with your physical body, not that you would necessarily be weak but you wouldn't have need of muscles anymore. Future anthropologists would be able to tell you were more active, and thus probably more fit, than the average human of the time but would have no way of knowing exactly what activity caused the increase in bone density.
