Good things are easy to do. Just good things on a grand scale are a little more difficult. Easy to steal some food off an old person or baby, hard to raise the funds to feed a few hundred homeless people. But you can do little good things, like compliment people, little gestures, sometimes just smiling at someone or asking how they are is a good thing. You never know how lonely someone is or what they are going through. Making them laugh or showing some attention might just save their lives. And not all bad things are actaully bad, you just have been told they are for money and control.
Good can only be appreciated when/where there is immediate sacrifice, or recognition of sacrifice. If it were easy to do, then it would be taken for granted.Careful not to let other people twist the definition of sacrifice. There's a difference between making localized sacrifice to do "gratial" good, and arbitrary sacrifices done to appease a group of untrustworthy people claiming moral authority.
