Tell me about foods that heal, any kind of info you could give me on foods used to treat ailments, increase happiness, get rid of anxiety, etc etc. They say the gut is like a second brain, a good meal targetting just what you need, depending on your situation, can probably do wonders.Even just the regular "just eat lots of X or Y bro" comments are appreciated, but particualrly looking for proper meals, some real cooking alchemy, the right chemicals or energies. What recipees do you guys know?
>>4246955cool idea for a thread OP, although specifically regarding ‘food and healing’, i personally think fasting is pretty underrated. idk, tea is more my thing - mint is good for the stomach, try st. john’s wort for depression, also mugwort has interesting effects on dreams. gargle salt water and take a shot of turmeric and vinegar when you feel like you’re coming down with something.concerning food, don’t take soil for granted - learn to compost. learn to grow your own veggies and forage on your own property for greater nutrient intake. oh, make sure to use iodized salt, most people are iodine-deficient >also bump for interest
I've spend all the moneys on buying all the promises of better health like all the organic pesticide-free unpasteurized probiotic plant and animal products and I have nothing to show for it but an empty wallet.I suspect the body has some kind of dharma, like how barbarian type of builds prefer eating lots of animal products because that actually enhances their strength and zest for life. If you have a weak and sickly type of constitution like me however, I don't think that anything can be of any help because there's no potential in the first place, like how a high quality education is not much help for an idiot.
>>42469554miso soup and natto (with rice) >>42463636 This is the most relief from ocd i ever have had in years without psychiatric medication (im on meds rn though), eating it daily has really helped a lot. Also jasmine tea has a really nice emotional calming effect on me. It's kind of hard to describe, but it makes me feel well in a way regular green tea doesn't. It feels kind of like it makes me feel more "comfortable" and relaxed and regular green tea just makes me more alert and have a faster metabolism. Jasmine green tea kinda feels like this song https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=tEoimCTQe3o

>>42469554for me it's rice krispy squaresI eat them every day and feel amazingthey digest very easily and taste great and offer fast burning energyI also run about 60km per week
>>42472372Rice krispy treats have to be one of the least healthy things you could.

>>42472372Those things are nasty. I get sick by the chemical/fake taste they have. If you make them yourself they are tasty. Anything processed now makes me sick, even basic shit like chips, I've unironically turned into some crunchy fag making my own bread and saving up money so I can buy good cheese every once in a while.Cheap meat too doesn't sit well with me either. At this point I'm tired of being a poorfag and eating has become a chore
>>42469554Anxiety: >semen retention (Mantak Chia's books) eliminated 70% of anxiety and gave amazing sex drive>eliminating seed oils and omega 6 very zealously eliminated 95% of anxiety>vitamin A restriction removed 80% of skin problems, and greatly improved liver health so that I can drink more with less hangover in mid-30's than in highschool. Vitamin A is a major-major-major liver toxin. It is the reason fat turns yellow in old age as well as the yellow color of fatty liver. >black beans: canned black beans eliminated 70% of heartburn problem>cucumber: eliminated 100% of heartburn problem and improves mood a lot. This makes a lot of sense when considering the "elemental balance theories" of Ayurveda and humoral theory, but makes little sense to modern nutritional science.
>>42469710>I suspect the body has some kind of dharmaHealth depends on your karma. Can be seen to some extent in your natal chart, and then a diet plan can be extrapolated from that. For example the 1st and 6th house will show many of the health problems and diseases you will be subject to. While 2nd house will show information about food. Based on this information you can choose a diet plan, and spiritual remedies. For example if you feel guilty eating meat, then donating lots of food to others eliminates this guilt, and gives karma that you will be blessed with abundant food yourself. Whereas Mars sadhana will give realization that you don't need as much meat, and give the strength to eat less meat. >Tell me about foods that healWestern humoral theory, TCM and Ayurveda all have the same basic premise that restoring balance (homeostatis) to the body will restore health. Another theory is that toxins are the cause of all disease, and they accumulate with old age.

>>42469554your diet should be almost entirely protein and fiber. i can't stress the importance of fiber enough. eat carbs if you're going to be active that day, but if you're sedentary then carbs do nothing good for you. try to limit carbs to <20% of your intake.bone marrow, chia seeds, avocado if you can stomach it, butter, any meat besides pork. any fruits you like, i'm partial to pineapple and cantaloupe. carrots and sweet potatoes. dark leafy greens. whenever you can eat the skin of a veg or fruit you should do it, like potatoes and apples. cheeses made from unpasteurized milkalso sauerkraut and kimchi. other fermented foods are probably good but i can't tolerate the taste besides these two. easy meals that I like:-baked sweet potatoes, sauteed spinach, air fried chicken cubes no oil.-browned ground chicken in raw cabbage/cole slaw mix, teriyaki sauce optional-two beef patties (no bun) with a baked potato. butter good, sour cream optional-baked chicken breast, a pile of baby carrots, a hard boiled egg, a sliced apple and maybe cubed parmesan. recipes are shit most of the time. your best bet is to arrange an assortment of cooked whole foods kind of like a charcuterie. a normal, non-treat/rare meal should have no more than 4 steps per component. if you find yourself layering your food like lasagna you've lost the plot.
>>42469554Your gut health is critical for healing. It is where the nutrients from the foods you eat are extracted to be distributed throughout the body. The foods that I find are best for healing overall are honey, berries, and yogurt/kefir. Red meat, potatoes, and eggs are also essential to any diet as is limiting the amount of carbs you ingest. I would recommend a low FODMAP diet (see pic/filename) as these foods are easier on the stomach and therefore it is easier for the body to extract the nutrients. It is also very important to cleanse/detox yourself regularly so that your digestive tract can operate efficiently. The best way to do this is to fast and parasite cleanse every 3 or 4 months. The fast should be a water fast and last 3 days minimum. As for the parasite cleanse there are various ways. The three that I tried are ParaGuard Liquid, food grade diatomaceous earth, and pine gum spirits each with a charcoal binder. I liked Paraguard the most but your results may vary. The most important thing you can do to maximize your healing factor is to be conscious of what you ingest. That means reading the nutrient labels and scrutinizing the ingredient list. You might think something that says “natural flavors” means it’s healthy but in some cases it is not. For example castoreum is a natural flavor, which comes from the anal glads of beavers, is used as a substitute for vanilla flavoring. As the saying goes, ‘You are what you eat’. If you continue to eat highly processed foods and wash it down with carbonated corn syrup all your efforts to properly and effectively heal will be in vain.

>>42474072Best post ITT.>lots of proteinbecause amino acids are necessary for every detox pathway in the body. You cannot detox environmental toxins without amino acids. You can use whey isolate mixed with water because it bypasses digestion (due to already being aminos in their most simple form). Digestion slows metabolism by 80% and disrupts the flow of prana>intermittent fasting > prolonged fastingWith the level of environmental poisoning going on, prolonged fasting breaks down too many cells while the body struggles to keep up with flushing out toxins. Basically puts you in permanent catabolism. Look into mercury methylation and apoptosis to get an idea>fatty acidsUnpasteurized dairy. Cheese and heavy whipping cream preferably. Healthy fats play a massive role in hormonal regulation and brain repair. Most people have multi system wide demyelination due to lack of high fat diet>Garlic clove (raw) and apple cider vinegarI can't remember why, but I've been doing that for a while and it seems to keep my energy up>eggsComplete food. Has all the building blocks to create a living creature
