Maybe a decade was a bit much, but she genuinely looked significantly younger. You also have to remember that she was genuinely born into this life, as she was supposedly taught most of what she learned about sex magic from her older female relatives. I should also probably state that she never referred to what she did as "sex magic" although she did say that sexual intercourse was needed for many of the rituals she preformed.

As far as I've ever able to tell, we seem to have two mutually-exclusive spiritual "orientations"/"modes" vis-à-vis other humans, one of self-projection and one of absorption/pulling-in, and this whole thing you're describing involves a transmutation/initiation of oneself into a VERY extreme version of the "pulling-in" orientation, possibly involving a permanent surrender of the ability to ever go back into the self-projection mode.Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, adopting a lifestyle that revolves around regularly using magic techniques to draw off external life force just to stay healthy tends to make you into a pretty insane and shitty individuals overall.
