Now, I don't believe in hell, and I have contemplated suicide quite a bit throughout life. I fucked my head up with drugs, put myself in a really torturous head space at times.

It wasn't until my 30s I really found stability and purpose. Now I have kids, love them a lot. Sad story getting to the first, a girl. I loved her mom a lot, but had to split, we got toxic. Turned out she was pregnant, court battle, lalala. It sucks.

Second kid, my boy, only learned of him a month ago. His ma is cool though, making it all easy. I don't love her and I didn't plan for my little dude, but we are making things work.

Point is, I could wallow in misery about all sorts of shit. Or, I could be happy to have my kids and work to give them better than I had. And them kids ain't a prerequisite, I can do that with anything. Purpose is an idea we build into a belief.
