Belief is stupid.
Curiosity doesn't require belief.
Seeking experience and being receptive to it when it arrives doesn't require belief.
Accumulating hundreds of events of experience does not require belief.
Being honest with yourself about what you have perceived doesn't require belief.
Postulating a hypothetical theory doesn't require belief..
Knowledge is not the result of belief.

I have decades of extensive experience and various encounters with the paranormal. Belief is not a factor in this.

I don't simply "believe" in the paranormal; I know it. I have direct experience with many aspects of it. Knowledge that it exists is not an explanation of exactly what it is or how it works.. but direct observation eliminates the doubt that is the hallmark of belief.
>>
>>42657113
I'm a wizard with magical powers so I just observe my own actions every day and see that the paranormal exists.
>>
>>42657313
would you be so kind as to give me an analysis of a dream i have been trying to come to terms with all day, you seem more than qualified, i understand if not as it is rather long winded and shines light on my shadow. Thank you regardless

using the voice of my internal monologue, screaming as loud and clearly as possible, farther than what most people can imagine they sound like if they shout loud enough to hurt themselves. imagine shouting from a ridgeline, mountaintop, or similar. stuff like this-

>"can anyone hear me?"
>"if you can hear me, then .... "
>"if you can hear me, I can't hear you."
>"I'm getting up for coffee. come over and tell me about your cousin's vacation"
>"I'm going to play a laughing baby sound on my phone for everyone to hear. you come over and ask to see it"

sometimes people will indicate that they heard me. I would like to be able to hear other people, but I can't.

I went out and sought it myself. Found apparitions, experienced psychic influence, felt supernatural "charge" in the air personally. These days it manifests as a tingling in my hands, like sparks dancing up and down my fingers, and if under direct attention I feel a pressure in my skull. Which I feel now, typing this out.

Subconsciously believed and was fascinated by the occult & "paranormal" since early childhood (like, literally late kindergarten/early primary school years - when boys my age were drawing cars and robots, I was drawing ghosts and monsters). This interest has persisted for decades and still does.
Funny thing is that I've never actually had any real "mystical experience" in my life (beyond some synchronicities and a few lucid dreams), despite having actively sought it from time to time and despite dabbling in a few different esoteric systems over the course of my life.
Some occultists I've known said I'm likely the kind that naturally repels all things "supernatural", either due to my very skeptical mind that questions everything, or for some karmic reasons.
So it is what it is, but none of this has made me into a fedora-tipping materialist. If anything it's still one of my desires to experience something mystical one day.
>>
>>42659328
What causes that sort of fascination in such an early age? I ask because I had the same experience but I can't really tell what started it
>>
>>42659328
That desire will turn to horror if you do experience something, because "mystical" really means a direct encounter with non-human forces, which is terrifying. It's not fun. If it ever happens to you it will not be something you wish to repeat if you are of sound mind.
>>
>>42659332
Honestly, neither can I.
I guess, the mundane explanation could be that I saw ghostbusters, scooby-doo and similar "spoopy" kid shows on TV when i was like 4-5 and found them fascinating. Might've even glimpsed some horror movies, cos my parents were running a video rental at the time, so there were lots of tapes at home and they frequently watched them. I also remember having uncharacteristically (for a little kid) disturbing dreams around that age, to the point that I was afraid to fall asleep sometimes even. So idk, maybe there's that.
I was also kinda really afraid of the dark till early teen years. But then I deliberately exposed myself to lots of horror movies as well as started reading various books and articles on philosophy and occultism, and the fears eventually disappeared (including the fear of death). Getting clinical depression for a few years might've also "helped" with that.

Refer to my previous post, I'm not afraid of anything. I don't even see the classic nightmares anymore cos at one point they turned into comedy. I would find them amusing, sometimes would laugh at the "entity" and it would disappear, ending the dream. And then those dreams just stopped altogether. Now the only disturbing dreams I have are the ones where my living circumstances are unbearable or where something very "le bad" happens irl and I have to cope-or-rope with that.

TL;DR don't project your fears and sanity level on others, anon
>if you are of sound mind
cos clearly i'm not, by your standards

We had very similar experiences. As a kid I was interested in spooky cartoon shows and I was essentially a happy and normal kid but time went by and my family issues were too evident now and it took a toll on me so I looked for an escape in slasher movies because it gave me an illusion of power. That was probably just my shadow self in a way, taking shape after having gone through so much stuff before my mind was developed enough to comprehend it

>>42657113
Thr discovery of vampires.
>>
>>42659389
Yeah, not even surprised. Moreover I bet such life experiences are not uncommon among the core userbase of places like this in general. Many of us got into the occult as basically a cope against shittiness/ugliness/boredom of the so-called "real life".

An ethereal being I saw as a child. In my teens I convinced myself it was an hallucination, but there was nothing to cause me to hallucinate such a thing, especially since it matched how so many other witnesses describe gnomes or fae. As an adult I've had a vivid vision while meditating. Also, reading reports about alien and supernatural life forms and how many isolated witnesses described similar things.

So, what this picture of Yoda is supposed to mean in your context I honestly don't know nor care.

Not even sure what exactly it was that pissed you off even. Are you a christcuck afraid of your own shadow and butthurt that others aren't? My condolences in that case.

when i was a kid
my bedroom had two single beds alongside each wall
my mum used to sleep in the bed on the lhs of the wall because my dad snored
one night i woke up and saw this figure get out of mum's bed, dressed in white
she got up and proceeded to go to the bathroom
i followed thinking thats a good idea as i had to go myself
i Waited outside that bathroom for a good 10 minutes before i opened the door
no one was in there
so i went to the toilet and walked back to my room
my mum was still sound asleep
that Was my first experience of the paranormal
nfi who the woman was to this day

he treats me very well, better than the other spirits i'd encountered. he gives me purpose and company within this waking dream. the spirits are most generous but he above all is the one i love and live for. i give all else their due respect but i keep my distance otherwise, besides when i need to manifest something

The first time I truly astral traveled I met a powerful witch named "Sweet Bones" and I interacted with her for at least an hour. It was not some lucid dream. She was a real person with a real personality that was able to pull me into her bedroom to chat. We are standing about 4 feet away from each other communicating telepathically. She is hideously ugly and is a virgin. At one point when we are talking, a male, who I assume was a relative yells at her, saying, "Are you tricking boys into coming into your room again?" She is very vain but has a mouthful of rotting teeth and some kind of deformed hand. I told her I did not mind her appearance and was not scared which put her at ease.

What was happening was as real as when you are talking with someone in your everyday life. I swear that this 100% happened and was not some kind of dream or hallucination. I have lucid dreamed before and had very vivid regular dreams and this was far beyond anything like that. This instance and some other astral travel were real supernatural experiences that I have no real answer for. Astral travel has turned my belief system upside down and I don't know what to think about anything anymore. I will make a longer post in the days to come to tell about everything.

When i was about 11 years old i started hanging out with this 15 year old who said he could do magic and offered to prove it to me, he got a teddy bear or doll of some sort, took out some of my hair, got me to put some blood , said some shit then told me to turn around, there was a witness in the room, he said tell me if you feel anything, and after i few seconds i could feel rubbing / scratching on my right ear, i turned around and thats the part of the doll he was rubbing. It could purely be a coincidence because after that he threw the doll on the ground and started jumping up and down on it, i didnt feel that, he told me he would bury it but that if i told my mom or anyone about what happened he would use it against me, i was in bed that night literally terrified out of my skin crying my eyes out and confessed to my mother, don't remember much about what happened after that but i don't recall ever seeing him again, sometimes even to this day i will think about it and whether this doll still exists somewhere

It sounds like I have the only real experience here so i will share. Meanwhile, just know, that it sucks to know for sure. Once you have that confirmation there is no going back. You just have more questions.

>be me many years ago
>work at the same company for 20 years
>old fagging my way through life, but i have a fantastic life
>went to workout at the company private gym one night, been working out there for 20 years now. Never cared day or night.
>enter gym, lights off
>turn on lights, realize im alone
>commence 1.5 hour workout
>last set draws near and i heard whispering near me
>multiple voices together
>double check gym and no one is there, can see all entrances and whole floor from one side (its like a small open warehouse)
>finish workout
>go to turn off lights and collect my things
>feel someone walking behind me, like subtle wind or something
>whip around and no one there
>collect my things and head to exit
>am Catholic so i oray aloud
>get to exit and prayer finishes
>in Jesus Christ's name, amen.
>loud crash behind me
>look back and see a cable machine's cable handle swinging wildly
>did not touch the machine whole time there
>get angry
>watch the cable come to a rest
>pray again and leave
>nothing else
>>
>>42663199
After thinking and praying on it, i came to a few reasons for what happened:

>wandering retard thought to fuck with me
>demon saw me alone and thought to try and peak my curiosity or some
>demon knew i was getting closer to God in my soul and wanted to scare me just because
>it hit the cable as a show of anger for .e forcing it to leave

(These captchas are heckin gay)

When I realized certain psychics could actually communicate with the dead. When I saw people who had NDE's say that hell and judgement aren't real. When I learned about astrology. When I read about alien abductions (the good ones, not the bad ones where people are traumatized against their will). And most of all, when I saw how religion demonized all of it and told me not to believe in any of it.

The only reason you're not butting heads with YHWH about it is because your magic is so impotent
