guys, theres no need to try to convince people of the merit of the book, if they dont understand it. they probably think alchemy is a literal transmutation of metals. the reason people talk about pearls before swine, is because too much information to people who are not ready, can be harmful to them. pushing it on them, will only cause them to push back harder. were not helping anyone by forcing this. theyll just stick their head deeper into the sand. i know, because i was once one of them.this is not the path for everyone. there needs to be secondary characters, and extras, to support the main cast, though all parts are equally important. actually, in some of the best stories, its the secondary characters, that make the biggest differences (think samwise gamgee). true alchemists, know energy, and what happens when you use it wrong.
