uncanny valley is literally ancestral blood memory of encounters with demons and other inhuman entities. the scars are strongest among aryan peoples who had to fight these inhuman entities for their entire existence, not experiencing uncanny valley and/or being unable to comprehend it is brown-coded.

My mom is a huge normie with very mainstream tastes who tends to dislike things for being unusual, and she can visualize just fine. When I told her some people have aphantasia, she was surprised and said that a big part of the joy of reading is seeing the story happen in your head. On the other hand I've also encountered some out-of-the-box people who say they're on the lower end of the mental imagery spectrum.
