Redpill me on finding portals to Fairyland
>>
>>42979007
Easiest is obviously fairy rings. These are mushroom rings that are believed to be doorways to their realm. You're not suppose to step inside them.

Another lesser known one is deep briar/thornbush "tunnels." If you've seen Coraline, in the movie she finds a crawlspace door that opens to a brick wall during the day. At night, it expands into a gleaming tunnel. It's kind of like that out in the woods. If you find one, sometimes you'll pop out somewhere completely different. People have reported finding these tunnels once, then never again.

An uncommon way to get into their realm is to simply be invited. Some tales tell of people finding the wee folk on their travels, and mistakenly accept gifts or eat of their food. They're then fairied away to their land(pun intended) to dance, make merry, etc. When they come back out they haven't aged a day, but many years in our world have passed.

Sometimes you can simply wander into their realm. When the stars and planets are just right, or maybe by accident, you find yourself in a colorful realm you've never seen before. I've only heard a handful of these. They usually don't last either. The speaker and/or author says they get uneasy, and stumble back into our reality shortly after.

There's likely more and I'm sure you'll find your own way. Anons might also tell you other ways as well. You could always just go to a library and use Google too.

run and get away as fast as you can. they will torture you.
>>

Fpbp. To add to this: The upside down pool. I've only seen it like twice in media. If you see an alluring pond in the woods it might be a portal. So it's like... You can see the bottom right? But once you start swimming to the bottom you actually start swimming up. You pop out on the other side in the faerie land. Dunno how trustworthy the stories are but hey. Ya neva know.

>tunnels
We called those fae arches where I grew up in Appalachia. Bent trees or bramble bushes, mostly. Any time two trees create a natural arch, one should be wary of stepping through that arch. I’ve heard of old hollow tree trunks being gates as well. My understanding was that not every arch was a fae arch, but every arch should be treated as one. Further, the ones that were weren’t always active. Specific days of the year or transitional times, like dusk and dawn, increased the thinness of the spot between us and them. Otherwise though, stepping through an actual but inactive arch could bring misfortune instead of teleporting. We didn’t have fae forts or many natural stone arches where I grew up, but those can be signs of thin spots nearby. I’ve said it here on /x/ before, but watch out for stray sod while hiking in places with fae. Stepping through a fae arch and getting cursed or teleported is one thing, but stepping on stray sod and wandering off trail til morning is another. I’m not sure if the fae care if their mischief and wards kill humans or not.

Learn their rules and win their games, they'll tolerate you. You might even get a boon from them.

NO, THEYLLL LIE AND TORTURE YOU. its a lie they cant lie, they lie by doing some very very jewish rabbi leaps of logic to twist things up.

its only lying if they get called on it from their higher ups. they give no "boons" besides letting you eascape. not let you go free, you gotta make it out on your own and they LOVE the taste of fear.

The portal is how contact is made with children. From then on, all that is required is a will to use the imagination bestowed upon them.

>they torture first born of adams lines because they fucking hate us beyond words. they are the people of the 5th and 6th day and see us as an affront and mocking done by god. arrogant doesnt begin to describe them.

They dont like christians because they consider them to be morons at best. There are also divided in dark and light fairies. I assume the dark fairies are the evil ones. The norse god Frey is said to be the king of the fairies.

Psychic attacks that twists vision can be broken by twisting your own vision. Alternate cover over your left/right eye to force your vision processing to jump between brain hemispheres. Use a lens to distort your vision to force your brain to reprocess vision. The thing is that vision attacks are not easy to spot. Generally, people dont.

Also, they can sense if you look at them directly, but if you look at them indirectly, like trough a camera and a screen, they cant sense you watching them. Its unclear if they can sense your vision if you use a direct vision changing device like a telescope or a mirror.

If they sense your vision, they can make themselves invisible by a psychic blanking of your mind. But that doesnt work on cameras, which is how people end up taking pictures of strange critters they swear weren't there when they took the picture.

>they torture first born of adams lines because they fucking hate us beyond words

Ohy by the way, the jews swiped genesis from the babylonians, and retconned it. In the original, the two races of men were the adamu, the dark race, and the sarku, the light race. The adamu was considered a "fallen race" by the babylonians. The jews deleted the sarku because they were brown people and elevated the adamu to be the single progenitor.

A few years ago I had a weird "Fairyland" experience.

It started with me awakening, or more like sobering up from an amnesia-like state, somewhat like when you have had too much to drink and don't quite remember how you got home.

I found myself in front of a low office building and people were streaming in. There was some kind of a costume party going on, as they were wearing all kinds of costumes depicting fantasy/fairytale/mythological beings( as in dryads, trolls, Tinkerbell etc.) The costumes looked like they were purchased from the cheapest "partyshop", and most of them were too small/large for their wearers.
I followed the others in even though I didn't know where I was, what was going on or any of the other guests. But it really seemed like a fun party, and I felt somewhat uninhibited, like I was a little tipsy or so.

I was promptly stopped at the entrance as for not having a costume(I don't remember what I was wearing at that moment, if anything at all).
One of the hostesses dressed as dryad gave me a some sort of a "ice-queen" outfit and told me to put that on. As a male I tried asking for a more suitable costume, but she shut me down immediately, and I felt that I had no willpower left in me to argue.
I did as I was told and put on the dress even if I was feeling very uncomfortable about it. The dress did not fit me at all but I went with it, as apparently I was in a very suggestible state. I felt something like what I imagine being lightly roofied would feel like.

Some other guests and I were led to a maze built into the cubicles of a smallish room. We were supposed to clear the maze to be allowed into the party proper.
The light were turned off and we started going through the maze. Some of the staff were trying to scare us like we were in some Halloween horror-house. They used flashlights, and as they suddenly turned them on they kept the light on for just a fraction of a second.
In that moment they seemed not to be in costume, but to be the actual creatures they were depicting. Their size, form and voice changed radically. Trolls became huge, fairies were luminous and banshees screeched loudly etc.
This really got to me and I was absolutely terrified, but immediately calmed down after each scare, probably due to the sedation. The "jumper" always thanked us after the moment, which we wondered about afterwards.

After the maze we were admitted in to the party proper. We went through a corridor and I remember there being a widescreen TV in front of there were a few attendees talking.
I heard a bit of what they were discussing about: They were comparing this party favourably to the last one, that the organizer was "upping the game" for this year.
The organizer in question was displayed on the TV wearing a black silken smoking jacket and laying on top of a pile of fake gold coins, with a plastic kings crown.
He was bit plump with short golden hair and beard, also not very tall. I felt that knew the guy from somewhere, but the connection faded from my mind quickly.
The people also talked excitedly about an especially "good fire" this year, I got the hunch that it was a coming event at the party.

>>42982815

We were led to large hall with long tables set for fine dining and name plates for every guest. My place strangely had a name plate with the original name crossed over with my name written under it(too bad I do not remember the original name).
It seemed that I was a replacement for someone else. About the dining itself I have no memories, maybe the drinks served were "roofied" too.
After dining there was some music and most of the attendees started dancing. The music was normal disco music, even if some of the songs were a bit on the older side, so that in some of them you could dance with a partner in an "old-fashioned" way.

I was sitting alone at the side-lines but I could still listen in on their conversations. Most were still talking about the "fire"-event, and also eagerly waiting for someone called Story/Tale to begin dancing (Story/Tale analogue is used as a common name in my native language).
They repeated the things they were saying almost like a mantra; "Tale will dance, Tale will dance soon, isn't that great, Tale will dance... etc. It was the same with the "good fire", they were impatiently waiting for it.
I had a feeling that the two things were part of the same event, maybe in sequence or overlapping, with the dance starting before the fire.

>>
>>42982817

Almost everyone was dancing by now, and I noticed that the hostesses were going around and asking the remaining guest to participate. I was nervously rocking my chair, I did not know anyone there and was feeling quite unstable on my feet due to the drinks, so I really did not want to participate.
Before long I was asked to dance by a hostess dressed as Tinkerbell. She was quite insistent, but I was trying to refuse to the best of my ability(which was hard as I felt really suggestible).

I remember there being a somewhat witty exchange, she telling me to "Be a man; stop rocking the chair, rise up and come dance with me!", and me replying that "This man with wooden legs isn't able, I prefer the legs of a chair to support me".
She was still smiling but I could feel that she took offence to this, not personally but more like it was against the etiquette or code of conduct.
She stared for me a bit, and suddenly took my hands and pulled me up from the chair. That was very easy for her as I was still feeling quite numb from whatever I was given, my legs just barely holding me up.

She took a small bottle from her breast and told me: "If you don't dance, your punishment is that you have to drink this shot."
This was more that ok for me if I could continue to sit down and wait until the show started, so I quickly drank the small bottle in one go. It tasted disgusting, like salty raw egg that has almost gone bad, and it also had a weird powdery mouthfeel. I remember the drink looking almost black, a very deep purple with grainy texture glistening on the surface.

Contd...
>>
>>42982830

Immediately after I drank it she told me something like "That was made of goat-snot/crust-something-something, away you go, good riddance".
I went blind immediately and could only see multi-coloured spakle with my eyes closed. My consciousness started fading out too and I remember slumping back into the chair before passing out.

I woke up in my own bed unable to open my eyes as they were completely crusted over. I could still see the glitter-effect as I rubbed my eyes free of crust, and even for a while afterwards. I my mind was also really foggy for a few minutes, even though I had slept a full night and had nothing to drink the evening before. The experience felt so vivid and meaningful that I wrote it down immediately after I could see properly again.
>>TLDR: I got into a faerie gathering as a replacement guest, and got thrown out because I wouldn't join the dancefloor. If you want to party with the fey you better be willing to dance. I learnt my lesson and took some dancing classes afterwards, in case I will be invited(or be an extra) again.
Also, it was all a very vivid dream, probably?
>>
>>42982834

There is more details to the story, but those were the main things that happened.

I live in a country where classic fairies are not really a thing, but we have our own versions of little people and genius loki.

I can try to answer questions about the dream, it would be interesting to find if there are more similarities to other experiences.

One extra detail I remember is that the organizer "King" was called Orion, Oberon, or something other beginning with O. I know that those are names from classic plays etc. but it is what it is...
>>
>>42982872
How hard is it being a horrible human being? You were merely asked to dance, but you refused. No more parties for you, bad guest.

I just realized that I have gone through an arch like this!
It was small, I barely fit through and I'm a very slim fella. It's is located on a small rocky slope near a suburb where I live, so it's not remote or anything. The place has a certain feeling to it though, a lot of twisty roots and branches, and the ground is covered with lily of the valley. Some animals like it there too, raccoon dogs and roe deer sleep there even though its surrounded by habitation. Some stone age arrowheads have also been found, and there are remnants of an iron age hillfort within a few hundred meters.

I'm also the poster of this story:
>>42982810
>>
>>42982893

Yeah, I know.

I have really tried to be more easygoing afterwards. Karaoke is quite ok, but dancing still feels a bit awkward especially if I'm sober.

Maybe their intention was to teach me a lesson, boring people don't get do interesting things...
>>
>>42982943
>assuming the Fair Folk mean well
This is always a mistake.

They wanted to play with you (like a child with someone else's toy) but needed some display of willful consent on your part before they could do all that they wanted. Simple as.
>>
>>42983008

I remember having a weird feeling about the fire thing, it seemed that it was more for the organizers and those who had been in those parties before. There was more of the "usuals" than new guests, or at least it seemed so at the maze.

Maybe they had something like the wicker man in mind...
>>
>>42982943
>boring people don't get do interesting things
Yet you were invited to a fae party, liar.
>>
>>42983101

I wasn't invited, I think I was a last minute backup for someone else...

Maybe I'm just more suspectible for these kind of things as I've had a lot of sleep paralysis and hypnopompic hallucinations before. I have always been a bit aloof, spending most of my time inside my own head or distracted from the real world. Reading, daydreaming, gaming and also being terminally online...

I think this dude is correct after all, I never realized that I was not there completely willingly. The dance was the first thing I could say no to, before that I was made sedated/suggestible by some means.

I guess the fae care about true consent.
>>
>>42983581
You should've let them play with you
>>
>>42979007
Certain people are protected from fae. There is a rare type of human that the fae avoid due to a higher power's protection. If you are one of the protected people you will not be able to find fairies no matter how hard you try.

>>
>>42982917
Fairy arches more often tend to be in arched shrubs than trees, but either are possible. Your description seems reminiscent of both the arch and the fairy fort. I’ll add a little more detail of what I was told about fairy arches. Wildlife typically enjoys the protection of fae wards without suffering the curses. They congregate in such safe spaces. One of the ways I’ve heard of finding active arches is by looking for fireflies, or lightning bugs as they were called where I grew up, sitting in the arches. They will infest the branches or vines that make up the arches without flying off. But as I said, arches tend to only be active during transitional hours aside from their wards and curses.
A word of caution though: dancing with the fae can be rather dangerous. There are a lot of fairytales and folklore that explicitly warn against dancing with the fae. People who do dance end up trapped in the fairy world forever. Sometimes eating or drinking what they offer is enough to trap a person. It’s common in Scottish and Irish folklore especially. You are lucky to have come back at all.
>>
>>42983512
from what i gather, the fae are absolutely MISERABLE creatures that are soooo shitty, they not only hate humans, but hate themselves more than they hate humans, and are "that fake friend", you know who.
the "friend" who is a black hole of shittiness inside, so they latch onto non-shit people and suck out all their joy like vampires. those douchebags.

The arch is probably a bent branch of a nearby tree, or a young tree which has been bent/trapped under something. When I saw it last time it was still alive. Its about two fingerwidths thick and a yard or in height across.

I have seen some fireflies in the general area, but within ~300 yards only a singular case. I haven't been to the place at the peak of the firefly season though, here its a few weeks before midsummer If there is one there should be more. Have to wait until next years for that though.

I could actually go and take a picture of it today, I would be back in maybe 3 hours.

>>42982917

I'm sorry to say it, buy I exhibit these qualities more often than not. Maybe they felt some kind of kinship. The staff at the party seemed more interested in scaring the guest and seeing the dance and the fire than actually enjoying each others or the guests company.

There were a few weird things around the portal, and some plants I want to identify.

Only active thing that happened was my phone going from 35% battery to zero when i was taking pictures. When I started charging it at home it immediately went back to 35% again. I thankfully had my camera with me so I could take some proper pictures after my phone died.

I'll probably post some pictures about the plans later if they seem relevant. I have a hunch about one of them, it might be called goat-something in my language.

Shit. I tried turning it again, but apparently that doesnt work.

The largest rock beside the portal was split for apparently no reason. Maybe the meadow was used for agriculture previously and cleared from rocks. Some of the are so big that you could not move them without a tractor/digger, and even then it would be very challenging. I think the stones are older than agricultural machines, so I wonder if they have "always" been there. There is a stream behind the rocky ridge, so the fields did not extend beyond it. Maybe the rocky bank was formed during the ice age glacier flow.
