Started to skate again after stopping it for 6 months.I used to land FS Kickflips and BS Kickflips easily.Now, my brain can’t compute doing them. >>260412It's not more complex, just different. Ollie is mostly about learning pop technique, good form while jumping and the rhythm/timing of manipulating the board under your feet while in the air. It's a lot of very quick micro movements. Pop shoves are more about learning to get out of the way of the board, watching it rotate underneath you and spotting a landing, which helps more for learning flip tricks. I found ollies easier and more comfortable to learn and commit to. Shoves were scarier because they felt more unpredictable at first - you gotta be really confident in your scoop and trust that it's going to rotate properly so you can fully commit to the landing.
Can also just do bonelesses there's a guy around here who doesn't ollie just boneless into everything
