To the anon who asked about bushings: the wide side is meant to cover the holding surface of the truck. So, firstly, if you put the narrow side there, you would be exerting greater pressure on that surface, either forcing the bushing to slip or otherwise damaging it. Secondly, the wide side won't fit under the metal cap that goes inbetween the screw and the bushing.

Friendly reminder to take extended breaks periodically, no matter how good you are. It's THE biggest hack to getting better. Every time I level up, it's because I take a break for a few weeks. That stuff about things resetting quickly while you're off the board is such bullshit, but people seem to really believe it. They are afraid of taking breaks because they think that in a few days their brain will delete all their knowledge, muscle memory and balance to do with skating. Real retard thinking. If it's been a few years, or even a decade for some people, I get it, you probably are rusty. But a month or so? You are probably levelling up and don't even realise.

I fucked mine forever by rolling it really badly.
