So, firstly, if you put the narrow side there, you would be exerting greater pressure on that surface, either forcing the bushing to slip or otherwise damaging it. I've always thought that their name was suspect. They call themselves "one-eight", as in first letter of the alphabet (A) eighth letter of the alphabet (H) for Anti Hero.
