The characters were still normal people and not gods on earth, the drawings were crispy and full of life, lot of laughs, lot of funny fights and not absurd powerplays with 10 transformations and magical powers pulled off the asses, alabasta was a cool setpiece, vivi is one of the most adorable luffygirls and almost all the alabasta's cast is still active today or important for major events like cobra or crocodile which is still doing things and appears at every major point.
