What the FUCK was his problem?
>>287292567Jap boomers are just on another level. Not happy unless they can inflict maximum misery on everyone and everything.
>>287292567If you've been working in entertainment for 13 years and can't even get 10 people to buy tickets to your show, you should find a new career. You certainly shouldn't tell your boss that you think you deserve a promotion to the same level as him.
>>287294205It's his problem that he's on top of a dying type of entertainment. It seems he'd rather let it die in "glory" along with himself, than accept a bunch of newcomers. The newcomers all were considered promising, and certainly at least some of them were competent enough to get promoted.
>>287294695None of them were newcomers, they were trying to be promoted to master rank despite being nowhere near master level.
>>287294834Even if that were true, why expel them?It makes no sense.
>>287292567Two Akane threads the same time?Truly the queen of WSJ!
>>287295676It's like if a salesman who can't even meets his quota tells the CEO that he should be promoted to VP of sales, since if he's a VP more people will buy from him. Retards like that make the company look bad, so they get fired.
>>287296022You should become one of those psychopathic upper managers. You'd fit right in with coming up with narratives that justify your actions.
>>287292747American Boomers can be just as vile. Boomers everywhere actually. The good die young afterall.
>>287296089>coming up with narratives
>loli grows up after first episodeI hate when that happens.
>>287292567Nothing? He solved it.
>>287292567He was MAD that these faggots believed to be on the same rank as him, so he tried to give them a reality check. The bit about expelling them of the school is just him being a dick and the other Masters having 0 backbone.
>>287296467That face looks like the brats expecting correction in my mangas.
>>287299694She's going to Rakugo-correct you.>>287299009You realize "expelling" means literally ending their rakugo activities forever, right?
>>287299909>You realize "expelling" means literally ending their rakugo activities forever, right? You can go to another school on the same city (a lot of them did) or go to one of the other big cities and enroll there.
>>287299909They're free to try joining another school. He has no obligation to let them continue to ruin his brand's image.
>>287299009If the other masters had backbone they would've told their students that they weren't ready to do the exam. Shinta skipped an entire segment of the piece because he felt that his ability to describe set pieces was mediocre.
>>287300436>If the other masters had backbone they would've told their students that they weren't ready to do the exam. There isn't a problem if they flunked the test, they can retake it next year, the bullshit move was expelling them from the school.
>>287300436As far as I know it's expected and even encouraged to make rakugo pieces your own in different possible ways. It's funny storytelling not nuclear warhead engineering
>>287300459If you publicly announce yourself to be among the best the school has to offer, then spend the first half of your performance fumbling around like a complete retard, why shouldn't the school disavow you?
>>287292567i would be mad too if i were stuck in such a disgusting piece of shit series like trashkane
>>287300791Yeah but the Arakawa school are a bunch of old school traditionalists who get to do cororpate gigs and local tv interviews, the expectation to be at the master level is that you are capable of doing the stories properly end to end and then you add twists for style instead of having parts you can't do. Like you can fumble and be a mediocre shitter in the second rank if you do that but the exam they were taking would let them take on apprentices of their own so they'd be passing down the shittery.
>>287296022>Glengary Glen Ross, but anime
>>287300847No problem with that if you can back it up, as a Futatsume, he was right, he was good, he just didn't have the magnetsim/skills of a Shinu'ichi of the Arakawa yet, he had the potential to reach it later.
>>287300847Did they all do that?
>>287300904Fair enough desu
>>287292567I would love to answer that question but the manga still hasn't revealed why Issho is the way he is.
>>287296467>>loli grows up after first episodebased
>>287292567Get that ass banned
REALLY cute little Akane.REALLY sexy JK Akane at the end.The ED is fucking adorable as well
>>287296467>loliAkane looks at you with this face when she sees your peniswhat do
I just think it's funny the way the anime phrased it every thinks Akane's dad is dead.
>>287292567It's called being based. You wouldn't get it.
>>287305725That's actually the OP, anon
WOMEN CAN'T PERFORM RAKUGO
>>287292567Based Issho
>>287296467You'll get JK thighs akane for a while hopefully which was nice, eventually she she gets older and develops an ass
>>287292567Listen, that rendition of Shibahama was THAT badwait till you see his fake mask during the amateur rakugo competition, hilarious
He shat himself because dad was getting too good. He realized he would get surpassed way hard so he nuked everything.
>>287292567>Japanese masters: "You're all terrible and lazy compared to when I was your age. Get the fuck out and never come back.">Also Japanese masters: "Why does no one want to learn my traditional arts except white weebs? :( "
>>287308963You can afford it while it's still a thriving art.But not when it's fighting for survival.
Can't wait for snek
I liked it but I feel like it was over animated. Really, it's about what you can convey WITHOUT images and they add wind, aura and all kinds of sfx, the music could be more lowkey as well. I don't know if they should show more of the skits or less, with Sangatsu no Lion for example they showed just a few snippets of shouji games with the core being character interactions and growth, I wonder which way this will take.Anyway revenge premises are always fun>>287296467indeed
>>287292567The Concrete Realm was running short of people.
>>287311209Issho didn't think Shinta had a solid enough foundation so he gave him some pointers in life.
>>287292567He has to listen to you.
>>287312591He needed more grit.
