As was said in an upper post, the tgird episode suffered by that, with she punching so hard a dude that she broke a wall, he flew away, despite technically she was in a covert operation.

It gets more interesting as more of the setting is explored, IMO.

I've come to realize that each Yuru is meant to represent a different season.

>Kyouko is spring because spring is when people start feeling more energetic
>Chinatsu is summer because she has the brightest colors and mood
>Akari is fall because she's the comfiest
>Yui is winter because she acts cold and it's darker during winter

Their hair colors and personalities all match the vibe of each season, and their names are also similar to Japanese season names (with the exception of Kyouko not being similar to Haru).

Chinatsu > Natsu, Akari > Aki, Yui > Fuyu

Chapter 27

Shima's short time in China had given him a rather grim forecast of Hatsushiba's prospects and Japan's role in global trade in general. They were being outcompeted by local Chinese companies both in China and abroad as manufacturing had shifted there due to the lower wages of the workers. His own thoughts were for Hatsushiba to set up production in China to manufacture products there as well where they could be made cheaper for both the local Chinese market and exported back out to Japan and other countries for cheaper. Even though this would negatively affect Japan's domestic manufacturing, it was seen as an unfortunate but unavoidable consequence of trying to compete globally.

But Shima had other, more personal problems, as well as after a bizarre visit to Vixen he found out that Chaco Mama had started using heroin. She'd started doing it along with her lover, the wine critic Robert Baker, who'd been supplied it by the shady underworld-affiliated businessman (and partial owner of Vixen) Liu Yansheng. With Shima's help and a hospital stay, Chaco was able kick her habit and decided to wash her hands of her bar and China and head back to London, separating from Baker in the process who would shortly wind up killed by some of Liu's men. But Shima and Chaco weren't the only ones having issues with Liu as Yang Chunhua, Shima's secretary, had her family's personal business ruined by him, the shock of which mentally broke her father. She thus has sworn to not rest until Liu is punished for his crimes and to that effect, promised to protect Shima and wanted to take her to meet her Taijiquan master after she'd personally fought off some goons sent by Liu's lover to rough her up.

Do you think you lose a certain something when you read a manga all at once, versus reading it as it comes out and you get the waiting and the build up in real time, waiting for the new chapter to come out? Or am I being a schizoid and because it's the same story either way, the actual wait doesn't matter if the story is good?
I don't really have an image appropriate for my question so here's a cute Fuuka

Both have their charm for their own resons.
Dailies in theory are a good compromise because they allow for chapter by chapter discussion while keeping a decent pace.
>>
>>282944224
They're different things, each with their own benefits and drawbacks, you can't really have both so you just need to pick what is preferable to you.

Stop insulting my threads, I thought it was a good question

I think reading week to week gives you a greater familiarity with the material because you start to attach emotions to the arcs (good or bad) and start to identify the series with its place in your life with a sort of long view perspective. When you binge a series it might resonate deeply but it sort of holds a place in your life like a good movie or limited series. You appreciate the larger arcs and storytelling devices the author implemented because the cause and effects and motivations and foreshadowing is much more obvious and immediate. But you'll always be aware that your appreciation of the series is one where you came to the story late and you can only interact with the community on the community's terms. There might be very few people who give a shit or there might still be a huge amount of fans keeping the lantern lit. Just two very fundamentally different experiences for reading a manga and each with their own pros and cons

Sendo tanks a straight from Ricardo. Sendo clinches but to the surprise of the audience, he kisses Ricardo right on the lips. Ricardo tries to get out of the clinch and does a body shot but Sendo presses forward while kissing him and then gropes Ricardo with his right hand. Ricardo is flustured. Then suddenly...BAM. Sendo launches a smash to Ricardo's left side of the jaw and he falls to the mat flat on his back and his head bounces on the canvas. Sendo wins. After the ceremony Sendo walks out of the ring. Looks at Ippo and says "I discarded my manhood to win. Now is the time for you to come out of the closet." Ippo is dumbstruck and confused. He is not sure whether it was a challenge or that he should confess his love to Miyata. つづく

>Nezuko ends up as the comfort woman of American soldiers

My favorite manga. The first reading comes at you like a train. Just constant dread and discomfort with barely any pauses at lightning speed. 10/10 page turner drama. Again you cant look away, just like a trainwreck. It captures the mood it was trying to give perfectly and its even more enjoyable if you can relate.
Theres even more in store for rereadings, even when you already know how it all plays out and it loses that suspense. You gain a deeper understanding of the characters and their choices, mindsets, thoughts in certain moments. Stuff you didnt have time to think about while you were marveling at that train wreck. Passionate, emotional, sincere. Nice allusions to the actual Flowers of Evil book of poems too. Motivates you to read it. The payoff for the main character's developed was amazing and executed in an extremely satisfying way. Thank you Shuzo Oshimi my GOAT. This is definitely your magnum opus. Will be thinking about this one for some time.

What are your thoughts? I hear a lot of people dropped it (especially because of the anime) but I honestly believe if you have, you should give it another shot with the manga. It would be a waste not to.

only read until the part where the dude and the psycho girl trash the classroom. im gonna start it over again. i really liked it. premise and the theme of the story is very simple. but it is portrayed very intriguing. evokes very primal emotions
>>
>>282939097
Not for everyone. A lot of people go through life without a single suicidal thought. A lot of people can never experience any sort of existential dread. A lot of people's mental state will never be an obstacle for any part of their lives. A lot of people will laugh at what they can't understand or think they understand based on their personal experiences and individual makeup. I think for people that can resonate with the state of the characters in Aku no Hana it is a very entertaining read that will stay with them.
