>>281857326I really wish they had continued the anime. The later parts are just as good. The mangaka's other work is good too and often just as batshit insane. Milk Closet in particular was incredible. It's the best he's done at making things feel truly alien and dangerous. I also liked Propeller Heaven and his odd side story to Battle Royale. The latter is basically the main character in Alien Nine forced into a brutal child soldier program instead of alien catching. Battle Ship Yumihari was his last long series and while interesting didn't quite come together as well as his previous work.

Every time I love the surreal atmosphere but the actual plot bores me and I don't watch the next episode. Then a few months later I feel in the mood again, repeat. I started it over a year ago and only finished 8 episodes so far. Still, dont think I'll ever forget this one because the good bits are pretty memorable.
