I knew about this anime through it's reputation of being a masterpiece. I was excited to watch this, and I finally did. I knew it was going to be surreal and existential but I had no idea just how nonsensical it would be.It's like if the final two episodes of Evangelion was an entire anime. Does anyone know what the point was. Does Lain exist? Is she God? Did it all take place inside the wired? Was any of it even real?

This is all I could remember off hand. Conceptually very interesting. I rewatched with my sister recently and she pointed out the Knights logo which clearly implied how they fried Lain's sisters brain.
