Issue with these threads imo is that, unless we have enough people who happen to start watching SM at around the same time and end up discussing with each other(I'm aware there were already some, but they show up somewhat erratically) + some older fans joining in, there isn't much you can do outside of image dumps, which would make more sense on /c/ or /wsg/ for clips. I doubt the series is going to get anything new after Crystal(and apparently that wasn't liked much), and it doesn't look like there are enough old fans around willing to just start talking with each other currently, or they are already doing that somewhere else.
