>>281879534Hey Mew Mew anon, I can't comment on your other questions about 4Kids in general because who really knows why they did the shit they did, but I think I can answer this.It was pretty common for 4Kids dubs, and sometimes other anime dubs at the time, to show a random episode from the middle of the series as like a "sneak preview." 4Kids Pokemon definitely did this, and though Cardcaptors wasn't a 4Kids dub, it did something similar. This is mostly likely because a lot of anime, especially a magical girl show like TMM, start pretty small with a limited cast and don't really present a complete picture of what the majority of the show will end up feeling like once the entire cast/plot is established. So picking an interesting episode from the middle to lead off with is like a way of saying "hey, this show gets good! we promise!" and maybe makes the early, smaller-scope episodes feel a little more interesting because you know from the preview what they're leading up to.hope this helps!
