I don't particularly mind for the time-saving effort at animation, and it's true that the few times studios do go back to hand-drawn dedicated animation it's mid quality at best, and we just got used to it.But it's gonna need a hell of a lot of calibrating and tinkering until it gives a decent result. At least i know it's not gonna be as bad as cheap CGI shows like Ex-Arm, but still. Probably if they use AI to animate short segments, using the storyboard draft as "goalposts" to where the animation should go, and then meshing said segments together, it could work
