It seems like almost every manga follows the same few formats and tropes, be it harems, isekai battle shonen tropes, nose blood or face fall gags, tsundere’s, yandere’s, etc.Meanwhile some of the best manga don’t. Theoretically manga can be made as well as the best films or novels, but instead the industry and fandom rarely move past the same standard unintellectual tripe.
