i love anime but i'm rarely hooked by a show.
what keeps me engaged is my fascination with how they're produced. to me they're more objects of study than entertainment.

watch dubs so you don't have to read, that's what I do for isekai or gourmet shows. But if there's actual plot or drama I go for the sub because the emotional line delivery is normally better
