I’m watching the show before the new movie so I can see it with friends. I really enjoyed season 1 and Mugen Train, but this Entertainment District arc feels like it’s missing a spark. I appreciate the fat tits, but I have little interest in what’s going on so far.

dead forgotten series

Don't worry.
Despite (or maybe because of) having the most coomer bait, it's universally acknowledged as the worst part indeed.
That fucking fight has no build up, is too damn long and it's full of abrupt moments and barelly progresses the plot.
Even reading on the manga was tedious.

I honestly thought swordsmith village was the worst arc.
Hantengu is probably the worst uppermoon fight in my opinion.
>>
>>281908487
It falls off after the Mugen Train. Up until that point is really the peak of the series. After the Entertainment District it just nosedives into the ground and never recovers.

Swordsmith Village is definitely the beginning of the end of the show's quality level. UM4 and 5 were extremely lackluster compared to UM6, and especially UM5 who seemed just straight-up weaker than UM6. The season started off hype with the Upper Moon meeting but wow does it fumble later on.
>>
>>281908487
wtf... that's one of the best written and acted stories in the entire anime. you might consider you have a spergy comprehension issue.
>>
>>281909310
yeah I agree, the village had nothing explained and the best part of it was the big tit bitch.
they even introduced an old sword that was almost instantly irrelevant
>>
Also people will say that Infinity Castle is a big improvement besides the UM6 (new) fight. I really don't think so. UM3 was boring to me and it's hard to feel a connection with him with a plot-irrelevent flashback art the last second. UM2 was bad, just straight up silly. UM1 was in fact epic and worthy of a final battle, but it's the ONLY one in the entire arc. Muzan was EMBARRASSINGLY bad compared to UM1. Infinity Flashback is overall still a bad arc saved only by the UM1 fight.

Dude, that's THE Kimetsu no Yaiba you're slandering
The flipping manga was named after it!

That's weird. I never watched the series myself but everyone keeps saying that Mugen Train and Entertainment District are the 2 best arcs of the entire series.
>>
>>281909590
k well I don't read manga and know nothing about the sword, so far in the anime, it's just an old sword.

Shit taste. RLD arc is the best in the series, with the best hashira.

what? have you at least gotten to the part where the fighting starts or are you literally one episode in? Entertainment district kicks the crap out of Infinity Train. Enjoy it, because the anime starts sucking with the swordsmith village arc and the arc after that is literally unwatchable dogshit for 90% of it. I hope the movie broke the trend but I haven't watched it yet.
>>
>>281908487
That was the last good arc until the end. Village and Training are boring as fuck.

How the hell did they go from the Upper 6 fight to the forgettable atrocity of Upper 5 and Upper 4

Being the client of hot highranked demon escort (and surviving the encounter) unlocked a new fetish for me though.

It kinda even raised more questions about how secret the villiage was. Noone knew the exact Location and everyone carried the lead a little distance but the last one had to be a permanent resident to have it stay a Secret. The crows know. The pillars know. They even have a couple of spare villages prepared that are all Secret. And the demons could easily determine the location of the HQ and every demon slayer in Japan If they had just wanted too

The mangaka was speed-running the manga after Entertainment District. Even though Swordsmith Village had more characters and two UMs to fight it had the same number of chapters which inevitably made the UMs look like jokes compared to UM6. You went from Uzui, sun god Tanjiro, demon jesus Nezuko and supports fighting for every inch of their lives and needing multiple giant plot armor deployments ontop of it and even then putting a Hashira into retirement afterwards. To...Michiru mid-diff soloing UM5 as if he was WEAKER than LM1. Meanwhile UM4, literally two power ranks above UM6, was being managed just fine by a single Hashira while others went to chop the true head off. It was clownishly bad.

Ripoff of the Inuyasha Hair demon
>>
>>281914567
Yeah the powercreep between the later introduced hashiras and the early ones is disappointing
>>
>>281914516
The pillars didnt know. How Gyokko found the village is the biggest mystery.
>>
>>281914516
Fan theory is that one of UM5's pots made it into the village. This is based on non-manga information that Muzan sells the pots as a revenue stream, and since UM5 can teleport between pots the theory is that someone from the village bought a pot. But that's literally just a fan theory it was never even so much as hinted as to how UM5 got the information. Similar to how Muzan just randomly found out the location of the Ubuyashiki mansion even though this has evaded him for HUNDREDS of years scouring Japan for it. Just lazily speed-running the plot is what it comes down to.
>>
>>281914628
Sometimes I feel like marks were a mistake but how else would they keep up with the higher level demons. UM 4 should have had two Hashira to hold him back at least. Also I despise Muichiro soloing UM5. Worst decision ever.
>>
>>281908487
Half of that season is just action and it's damn good action. Sound Hashira was the coolest.

>Similar to how Muzan just randomly found out the location of the Ubuyashiki mansion
Really, anon? Really?
