enjoyed parts 1-5
disliked 6's ending, even though i understood the message
didn't really see what was so great about 7, but currently giving it another read
8 fell apart towards the end when it dragged on and on
haven't read 9 yet

I've seen all the adaptations but I've only read 5+
I think it's pretty good but Araki either needs editors or just needs someone to run his ideas past because occasionally he'll do something retarded that could have been prevented in the design stage. The entire first half of SO is kind of boring if you ask me, it picks up once they escape the prison. Early SBR is a bit slow but gets real fucking good, 8 constantly seesaws between good and bad and ends on a bad note, and 9 is so far great with no complaints from me. I'm not sure how to explain why he sometimes writes well and sometimes doesn't other than it's just random chance and some of his ideas kind of suck, while some are great
