Faputa has close ties with the nature of the abyss itself, considering the village was a crucible, fucking with the redistribution of signals outside of the 2000 year cycle. It was a safe space to pull signals from the abyss and keep it safe there for at least one cycle and gift them all to one being through Faputa devouring the villagers. I'm curious to see how the princess faith will function, but no doubt it will also involve manipulation of souls/signals from the abyss, just a mock copy of Faputa's version.
