How many anime/manga/days do you need to have to be an elite fan? I'm at 144 days and 499 completed with anime. But I've completed over 300 mangos and according to MAL, have 400 days and 60000 chapters. That's probably overall 300 days of animanga combined.

Reading/watching slop actually gives you negative points so you're at about the level of a drooling fucking retard

the pedigree matters more than the raw number. someone who has seen casshern, giant robo, future boy conan, oniisama e, and princess knight plus 'whatever was airing on toonami when I was growing up' has more insight and discerning taste than someone that has watched every weekly anime that aired from 2019 onwards but has never gone back to watch anything made before they were born
and I don't mean it in an oldnew badgood way, but to understand a story you must be familiar with what inspired it, and to understand those stories you must be familiar with what inspired them, and so on and so forth.
